I've bought more expensive boots and they are hard on my feet even though they felt good when I tried them on in the store. I've got a high arch and a wide foot. These don't cause blisters or hurt my arch. I've bought several pairs and I love them.

after reading that headline you probably wonder why do you buy them. Ok, I have feed problems to many years working on hard wet and cold concrete and cold hard wet steel drilling rig floors and these are comfortable for ME. They aren't waterproof I know this for sure because I live in Orygun where winters are long and wet and everything you walk on fron the ground to grass is soaking wet and your feet will get wet. I've worn Merrills and Keen and had the same problem for 3-4 times the $$$. I'm tough on shoes and if i get a winter or summer from a pair that's fine with me. Put in some good arch supports and avoid puddles etc. and you'll get 6 mos. out of them and they'll be pretty worn out by then. I can buy shoes that cost 3-4 times as much and they aren't as comfortable and don't last any longer, so I just consider them a consumable for work and throw them away after 6 mos and just buy another pair. Listen when your feet hurt all the time and you find something you can wear for 8 hours and it makes life easier you just go with it. hope this helps. ... show more

The sizing is accurate, and they're exactly what you want for hiking boots. They are sturdy, supportive, and comfortable! The laces are even tough! I have no complaints at all with these.

Very light and comfortable hiker. They fit 'right' (10M) without pinching in one place and/or being too wide and loose in another. The upper seems tough and boondocks resistant. Sole is aggressive and thick as expected. Attractive for a hiking boot, if you are into that kind of thing. Very pleased.
