I love wearing makeup but I hate taking it off. I don’t like using typical removers because they always burn my eyes. I recently discovered this cleansing oil (I’ve tried others but haven’t found my favorite) and I absolutely adored it. The texture is really nice and it has the most incredible smell. It’s sort of fruity but I like it a lot. It does a good job getting most of the makeup off in the first wash. That might be a turn off for some people but my most important concern was how it affected my eyes. I didn’t feel like the product irritated my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and did a good job. I followed up with a regular cleanser and my face was completely clean. I’ve also found that it’s good even if you don’t wear makeup but wear a lot of sunscreen or have other products on your skin. It gets a lot of oil off as well and I feel like my skin is extra clean when I use this.

A friend of bought me face care products, including a facial cleansing oil, from a fancy schmancy company whose products I cannot afford. Nearly out, I searched for similar products. When I found this Neutrogena cleansing oil, I was I excited, but my expectations were unfairly low. This cleansing oil is 98% as wonderful as the high-end $35+/bottle product! The Neutrogena oil cleanser really does remove makeup and ick (including waterproof mascara and eyeliner) with minimal effort. The consistency is not overly thin or super runny. It's easy to apply, rinses off beautifully clean, is lightweight and the scent is delicate and pleasing. I have Celiac disease, so I cannot ingest or risk ingesting even the tiniest trace of gluten. Given the number of times we touch our faces and lips throughout the day, it's important my facial products are gluten free. I REALLY appreciate the fact that Neutrogena does not capitalize on the gluten free aspect of any of their products. The best part about this stuff? It's beyond worth it for the money! Safe for my sensitive skin and allergies, plus very affordable. I love it!!

I have used Neutrogena’s Ultra Light Cleansing Oil is my favorite cleanser. I have used it for a couple years now and have gone through countless bottles. It gets all my makeup off without drying out my skin. I’ve tried other products, but none make me feel my face is actually clean like this one does.

gets rid of makeup easily. does feel greasy but washes off. tastes really bad so wash off quickly if removing lip makeup. no stinging.

This product was a new find for me, and I’m very happy with it. I had used micellar water for years to remove makeup before cleansing but it started making my skin dry and flaky, especially around my eyes. I had heard about cleansing oil, so I decided to try this product because of the “ultra-light” claim and the affordable price. I use one or two pumps and apply it to my eyes, massaging gently for about 30 seconds, then remove with a tissue. It removes all my eye makeup, even waterproof mascara. Then, I massage another 2 pumps into dry facial skin for about a minute to remove foundation, etc, then rinse with water. After that, I apply my usual cleanser, performing a double cleanse. My skin is very clean but not stripped or dry. It’s hydrated and soft. This is my second bottle, so, yes, I’m very pleased with this purchase. No need to spend a lot of money on a cleansing oil when you can use this.

I will admit, I was skeptical about an oil being able to clean my face. It seemed like the opposite of what I wanted. But even with my first use I was impressed. The oil is a good texture and lathers up well. With just about 30 seconds it got off all my makeup. And then it easily rinsed off with water and just a bit of pressure. It left my skin feeling clean and hydrated, not stripped like many cleansers do. I haven’t tried it with waterproof makeup yet but I imagine it will work well. The best part is you need so little that a bottle this size will last ages. Highly recommend.

I love cleansing oils and this one is fine but not my favorite. It goes on feeling oily but washes away nicely so that's a plus. Though it leave my skin soft enough, it's not as emollient and soft as some of my other oil cleansers. Some of the ones I really like emulsify into a milky substance (and some do not) and just feel wonderful on my skin, and as well, I sometimes feel as if I don't even need to moisturize after, though I do. This one just doesn't seem as luxe and doesn't leave my skin feeling wonderful. I'd likely not order this one again but go back to some of my faves, even if they cost more. Do note the size - this is a smallish bottle at 4 ounces.
