    • Too harsh for me
I use the cleanser about once per month because it makes my skin peel noticeably. It definitely does the job, perhaps a little too well. At this rate it's going to take me forever to use the bottle but it does remove dull built up skin.

Neutrogena discontinued the last facial cleanser I was using so I decided to try this without much expectation that I would like it. I actually like it better than the discontinued cleanser. My face feels clean but not dried out. I think it has also helped the texture of my skin.

I have terribly oily skin and hormonal acne outbreaks. I recently bought this after Neutrogena discontinued its Pore Refining Foaming Cleanser, which was the only thing that worked for my skin. I am in my 40’s and every cleanser that has ever worked for me has been eventually discontinued. I was skeptical about this one, because it usually takes forever for me to find a replacement. The red packaging caught my eye and I read the ingredients, which seemed to be similar to the Pore Refining Cleanser (glycolic acid and retinol seem to help my skin the most). I ordered it and tried it out and… behold… it keeps my oily skin under control and I think I’ve had a total of 3 blemishes since I started using it 2 months ago. That, in itself, is a miracle. Caution: the cleansers that usually work for me seem to be terribly drying for some people, which is why I think they keep getting discontinued. However, if your skin reminds you of an oceanic oil spill and your skin seems to became a general plague area once a month, like mine, this might just be the cleanser for you. Like every cleanser I’ve ever used, you never know until you try and fortunately, this isn’t very expensive at all. Thanks Neutrogena. You rock. ... show more

this cleanser has brought me back to neutropenia! it is absolutely incredible for my skin and I have one of those skin types that reacts to everything. it's this specific product that is simply amazing. I think it's the combo of the AHA that is working so well. You will need a moisturizer, but this cleans your face so well. It even removes the Revlon color stay eyeliner (being gentle of course!). I love this cleanser and I hope they won't ruin it! ... show more
