This product definitely helps. I saw an improvement on my back within the first few days of using it. It smells pleasant. A little goes a long way. (It does dry the skin out though, so moisturize well afterwards.)

This is a great product. All of a sudden my back started breaking out & I never had acne as a teenager. It was awful & I was extremely upset. I researched on line & found it has a name "bacne" very fitting. I also was not alone in this sudden outbreak as a middle aged woman. The Neutrogena body wash was highly recommended. I tried it & my back started clearing up rather quickly too. It seemed to stop it from further breakouts. I would get it under control & think it was going away then bam a bunch more pimples would pop out. That cycle stopped when I started using this. I got a silicone back brush on Amazon & only use the body wash on my back. Silicone is recommended because it rinses cleaner than regular bristles less bacteria can form. Plus it exfoliates your skin gently which you definitely need to do if you are breaking out. Rough scrubbing with abrasive exfoliant makes it much worse. I still use it even though it's cleared up except for the occasional pimple or two. I'm terrified of it coming back lol. It was awful especially in the summer I would not go swimming around anyone except my closest friends or husband. Not a problem this year thank goodness! Highly recommend it can be used on your chest, neck, arms etc wherever the problem is. It may cause your skin to dry out a bit but that happens with all acne products. I used a light lotion with no fragrance to moisturize. That was sufficient for my skin. Try it if you are battling body acne it will help!! ... show more

Warm weather means sensitive skin and breakouts for me, and I’ve yet to find a reasonably priced product that clears me up, smells good and doesn’t dry my skin out. As others have said in reviews, the grapefruit scent is love it or hate it. If you don’t prefer citrus scent, then you likely won’t enjoy this. I like grapefruit so this smells pretty good to me, and the scent doesn’t linger when I rinse it off. It seems to work better for me if I alternate use for a couple days on/off, but it’s not a slam dunk at clearing up breakouts. It did really well the first week I used it, then it seemed to be slightly less effective. It did noticeably dry my skin though. Not enough to be itchy or uncomfortable, but you could tell it was drier. For $20 for a three pack, it’s a pretty fair deal and it works decently. I have used this body wash for years and it is always consistent and helps with acne control. I have sensitive skin, but this wash does not irritate the skin at all. Highly recommended!
