  • Works
This face treatment is good. My son has been using it, and it works just as well as a different name brand we have tried. It is good for teens.

  • Consistent use is key
This clear gel rubs in easily and doesn't have any scent or leave behind a greasy feeling. I didn't notice any negative effects from it. It's designed to be used consistently and not just as a spot treatment, so it may take awhile for results.

  • works as described
I am trying this to see if it will help with some texture issues. I am only applying twice a week for now. Make sure to wear spf if you're going to use this product. Make sure to use the minimal amount necessary so it doesn't dry out your skin and follow up with a good moisturizer. It's a classic adapalene gel. ... show more

  • Good quality
This clear Neutrogena gel is easy to apply. The quality is good, absorbs well and I did not have any irritation and dryness. Per instruction, need to limit sun exposure and use sunscreen. Made in Italy and mine has expiration date of 6/25.

  • From bad to WORSE!!!
When spring arrived, I browsed Amazon as I sat caught betwixt a teenage girl and her mother commiserating about that most harrowing of events in a young girl's life: Prom. Discussions of hair, shoes, earrings, and things gave way to the centerpiece of the spectacle: the dress. There had to be a dress, and as the year is 2024 and not 1924, that dress had to be backless. "But the acne on my back..." the younger lamented, "how can I wear any kind of dress?" With puppy dog eyes and pouted lips, she was one "fiddle-dee-dee" away from bringing the entire city block to tears. "Acne?!", I said. "I've got you!" I said. "Neutrogena...for the win!" I thought. Already, I could picture being hailed the victorious hero. I would save the day and after a short parade and promises to do chores forever without sass or backtalk, she would have the most glorious night of her young life as all the other teenage girls parted the dance floor in awe, mesmerized at her clear skin. Someday (far away), she would name her first born after *me*! 'The Man who Saved Prom'. Instead... After using this product religiously for six weeks, this product made her acne *WORSE*. No victory lap, no parades, and frankly, I am fortunate I did not wake up to "Neutrogena Sucks" keyed into the hood of my car. While her mother managed to rally her confidence and get her to go, this referral has me way down in the polls, and it will take something with four wheels and an engine to restore even a moderate approval rating. I absolutely cannot recommend this product and it has shaken my faith in Neutrogena products in general. The picture without the shirt is 'Before' and the picture with the shirt is 'After'. ... show more

  • Needs consistent use
Be aware that this is not a spot treatment for acne. Consistent use is required. You need to apply to the same area a few times a week to see long-term results. When you stop using it, the acne will return if the underlying cause of the acne has not been treated. I did see mild results after about a week and a half of use. ... show more

  • Takes time
Not a spot treatment. You need to use it frequently to see the results over time. Also if you aren’t used to this type of acne treatment beware of skin dryness and use no more than enough to cover the pimple. Love Neutrogena, but this price tag is a little over the top if you ask me.
