It took about a year for it to get this bad, but still... It was under a matress and wasn't exposed to any kind of sunlight, moisture, or other destructive elements.

When I saw the picture of the bed skirt, I was a bit concerned because it looked a bit stiff, and I really wanted something a little softer. Well, I got just what I wanted!! I really like this bed skirt and I will probably be ordering another one in a different color for my 2nd bedroom. The color is exactly as shown in the picture. I was also looking for the type of bed skirt that fits between the mattress and box spring - not the elastic kind that wraps around the box spring. This was a great find for me and the price was right!

By Nestl Bedding Try not to try so hard to keep the skirt straight with the bed. The seams can rip if you pull too hard on the colored portion trying to straighten out the bed-skirt with the mattress. I purchased queen size in black and had a small rip from pulling to hard to get the bed-skirt to straighten out.

I purchased this bed skirt in dark gray/charcoal and it matches my comforter nicely. For less than $20 this does the trick for me. I didn't read the full product description, but did read a plethora of the product reviews. I thought it would be cotton, or maybe a cotton blend, but it is 100% polyester (microfiber). No biggie, just didn't expect it. The care instructions specifically say not to iron or dry clean, but I did iron it on a polyester setting and it did just fine. It can be tumble dried, but I wanted the pleats to be pressed and crisp. Just be sure to keep the iron off the white webbing material that will sit on the bed platform or box spring. It will melt quickly and easily. For the price point, this is perfect!

I included pictures of this bed skirt. It was nicely packaged. Very wrinkled out of the package. The white part of the skirt that lays on the box spring feels like it is made out of Pellon. The skirt itself is not the best quality fabric, but for the price, I like this skirt a lot. It took me about 20 minutes to press the skirt. The white part felt like it may melt if I ironed it, and ironing that part wasn't necessary. I had to remove my mattress (which is like wrestling an elephant). I spread the skirt out, and pinned it to the box spring. Having had other bed skirts that "walk off", I just decided that was the best solution. I really like the way the skirt looks which is why I gave it 4 stars. This bed skirt works nicely for me. I would buy it again because balancing the price with the finished look is a good value. I didn't give it a durability rating or a rating for cleaning because I just got it today. This one is silver and I love the color. It is a 14" drop, which is perfect for me because I don't like my bed skirt to actually touch the floor.

I ordered this bed skirt in sage. It came promptly. Naturally it does require ironing. No it is not enough to throw it in the dryer to "knock" the wrinkles out if you want a crisp pleated effect you will have to haul out the iron and preferably some starch and steam. However, if you are willing to take these reasonable steps you will be very happy with the results. It comes out beautifully as shown in the picture. This fabric is lightweight not heavy.
