This is the first bedskirt we've ever bought as a couple. It actually exceeding my expectations. We have a "purple mattress" and a low profile platform bed. We got the 16" length. I wasn't really sure what I wss doing to be honest. However, I managed to life my heavy mattress and slide the material underneath. The color is what I saw in the original advertisement. It is soft and looks nice. I wish the corners had a more crisp formation and the material that you slide under your mattress is pretty thin. I'm not sure how secure it will be when it needs to be washed. But in all reality how many times in a bed skirt lifetime do they get washed? I probably will throw it out before I wash it. But anyhow it's cute for now and adds to our calming, relaxing, boho, simple, oasis of a bedroom. I'm happy with this purchase. ... show more

They are thinner than expected so look less expensive than expected. Also, the two corners that go at the foot of the bed have no open pleat so this only works well on a bed without bedposts or footboard.

This bed skirt is nice, but not hotel quality. The skirt is made from cotton sheet fabric, but the material under the mattress is made from a satin-like fabric. It looks nice so I'll keep it, but I'm not impressed for the money I spent. Note: not a good fit for an adjustable bed due to the metal bar at the foot of the bed. I had to modify the bed skirt by sewing reinforced buttonholes into the fabric so the bed's metal bar can be inserted through the holes allowing the skirt to hang evenly around the bed. ... show more

This bedskirt is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. You always worry that it's going to show up being some weird shade of cream but this one was not and it matched my comforter and pillows perfectly. You do need to iron it before you put it on as it does come out of the packaging very wrinkled and it won't just unwrinkle itself like other posts have said. It's lightweight and easy to install. The pictures when ordering make it look much thicker but I was ok with the weight. It is appropriate for the price. I also love how it wraps around the corners. My old bedskirt had slits at the corners and I was constantly adjusting them to hide the frame underneath. I won't have that issue with this one! ... show more

It was very very wrinkled and must be permanent press because the wrinkles stayed in quite a bit so I put it in the dryer with a little moisture and it came out just fine and the next day it look great.
