I am someone who is very sensitive to smells, has pretty bad indoor allergies, and many strong scented perfumes give me an instant migraine. I had no business blind buying this, but I did and I love it! The fragrance is light enough to not trigger migraines, but somehow envelops my living room with a clean, sweet and warm scent. EDIT: OK I rescind this review. On the very first day, it didn't smell like holidays, but after day 2, some cinnamon started to kick in and it wasn't too bad. You just have to wait a bit. I was disappointed at first, but give it a day. It is currently 50 days after I opened this diffuser, and it is almost empty, a little under half an inch of liquid left. I specifically ordered it for some holiday cheer, but instead I get strong wafts of ozone and a green tea kind of scent. My boyfriend agreed that he was expecting something more seasonal. Wouldn't recommend buying without smelling it first because it is not as advertised. Also for some reason the box has really big warning that the contents are toxic to aquatic life and humans should also avoid breathing the vapors, which isn't really reassuring for a product so expensive. ... show more

Man oh man, is this stuff expensive. Man oh man, does it smell heavenly. And the smell is potent. So potent that, after giving one of these to my mother, who is prone to migraines, she got ill from the smell, boxed it up and returned it to me. Know, going in, that the smell is very strong for the first few days, so you may not want to put it in a small space or a space in which food will be served.But rest assured, for better or worse, that the smell will dissipate. In fact, I wish there was some happy medium, but there is not. So sometimes, I go by and shake the bottle or turn the reeds around (upside down) which helps a bit to liven up the smell for a short time. I have had mine out over 10 months, and half of the liquid is still in the bottle. It's set in a large area with high ceilings, and though there is no longer a consistent smell, I do still get occasional whiffs, perhaps when a window is open or the temperature changes dramatically. For the price, I only recommend as a very indulgent gift to yourself or someone you love. It's the most effective reed diffuser I've owned and easily the most expensive, so really a matter of priorities.. ... show more

I bought this because I love my Nest perfume so much. And the design is nice. However, this came off extremely strong at first, which I kind of expected, and then within a few days the scent disappeared. Even after changing the sticks out, it never came back.
