These lungi were of good quality. Like other reviews mentioned, they did have a strong, perfumed smell upon arrival. I soaked these in water and detergent for a few hours since the colors do bleed. I then put them in the washer and dryer for a quick wash cycle - this seemed to take care of the strongest part of the smell. There is absolutely nothing unique or special about these. They are not hemmed. They arrived frayed with some kind of glue stuck to the fabric. They are not cotton or even a poly cotton blend as advertised. Sending these back asap

After seeing comments about the "scent", I was concerned. But when I received the pack, it was not that bad at all. Also, after the first wash, the whole scent went away. The quality of the lungis is very good. My only gripe: I am a shorty, so this is a little too big for me, but not a big problem. Nice product -- keep it up, please! ... show more

all the loose threads that are caught in the hemming/seams on the short ends of the garments. The Fabric is nice quality, light-weight and definitely a value for 3 pieces. They get softer with washing. Some reviews have mentioned a strong odor...but I didn't experience that with my purchase. 3 different colors/patterns. Would love the option to choose colors/patters rather than mysterious random. Overall a huge 2 thumbs up. ... show more

    • Pieces of cut fabric
The description stated "Edges are stitched together". What I received were pieces of cut fabric without any sort of hem, therefore they frayed upon washing. Giving 3 stars because after I hemmed them, they serve the purpose for which they were sold, and the price seems right.

Ordering more right away and hope I'll get the more of the same! Great purchase and delivery time. Actually feels like a lucky find. Stitched edges when my sewing machine motor needs to be fixed! Shall post pictures soon. Thank you.

    • Exactly what I was seeking
I abhor pajamas, preferring instead to sleep in a lungi or sarong. What I got was just perfect: two meter pieces of unsewn cotton cloth in attractive patterns. OK, I'd have liked to have the cut edges hemmed, but I can con my daughter-in-law into doing that for me, if I wish. Highly recommend the product. ... show more
