This blue 1 inch painter's tape is an excellent value! I used it for several small projects as well as to temporarily tape some papers to the wall this past week and it performed just as well as the brand names. It has just the right amount of adhesive without causing any damage to surfaces when removing it. The thickness and stickiness of this tape falls right in between that of the 2 most popular painter's tape brands available in stores. Like other painter's tape, it doesn't stick to wet surfaces, nor will it work well in very high humidity. I have not used it for painting projects yet, but for other projects that require tape that doesn't leave residue, marks, or surface damage behind, this is a great option!

After being frustrated with other (insert name brands here) blue painter tapes, decided to give the NEOACT brand a try. Honestly wasn't expecting it to be any better, but to my surprise this tape actually does what it supposed to do. Will be painting a few wall soon, so gave the tape a test run on a small orange peel textured patch. Noticed right at application to the wall that the tape adhered better. Did a bit of painting ABOVE the tape to check if it would leak under, and nothing. Absolutely nothing. It had a perfect straight edge like it supposed to. Eureka! Would definitely recommend this painters tape.

When I opened the box, the rolls of tape were stuck together due to the sticky residue on the sides, but they weren't too hard to pull apart. There was a weird chemical smell on them, I guess due to the adhesive. After I let them air out, I tried to freehand some shapes on scrap wood. It can't do curves smaller than an inch, but should be fine for other applications. It's an alright product, but I feel like I've used better quality masking tape in the past from other brands. I do like the value of having 5 of these rolls, which should be more than enough for my husband and I to work on multiple painting and detail projects.

The media could not be loaded. Big Box stores sell the name brand tape in 60 yard rolls and it's only 1.88" wide. It also sells for approximately $8 per roll whereas the NEOACT tape is 2" wide and sells for $2.50 per roll right here on Amazon. Granted it's 5 yards shorter but that's made up by providing a wider tape. I think that it's actually slightly stickier than the name brand tape but not so sticky that it won't come off. It's pretty tough too and inline with the brand name stuff. I'm preparing to refinish all of our French doors and I was dreading having to buy a dozen rolls at $8 each. Definitely a Recommended Buy!

The tape works nicely. I didn't have any issues with it not sticking or loosening up with I was using it. Kept paint off where I didn't want it. Would recommend.
