0 degree 850 fill model. Used for a week in Arizona high desert. No disappointments at all. I was comfortable in just my skivvies in temperatures from 25 to 35 degrees. 35 is probably about the upper limit without sweating.

I live in Summit County Colorado and enjoy winter camping so i don't have any interest on wasting money on a hack sleeping bag that doesn't deliver. This bag does not disappoint. I bought the -20 regular and its exactly what i needed when combined with a four season tent. This is a mummy bag that has twice the foot room of any other mummy out there which is a must for me. The thermal vents are genius and actually give it nice range if it warms up. Im 5'11" and it fits me perfectly. If you're 6'+, get the long. Its pretty pricey but i think its worth it if youre at altitude looking to not freeze you're bits off. ... show more

Man this thing is comfortable. I don’t really go anywhere down to zero degrees, maybe in the mid 30s is all I need and this is great. Of course you need to add 10 to 20 degrees to the ratings so this is really like a 20 degree bag given the gills don’t have down insulation in them. I like the hood but I just stuff a pillow inside it and lay on top. Got the long model so it was pretty expensive but if you can find them on sale go for it, I paid about 460. But once cry once. I appreciate the storage mesh bag and the nice compression sack. And the water PROOF footbox! My one gripe is the zipper can be tough to put back together if you unzip it all the way and separate it. I like how comfy this bag is around the knees and legs too, less tight than a normal mummy bag. ... show more

The sonic 0 degree bag is well designed, comfortable and packs well but has not enough fill to stay warm at 0 degrees. In short it's not worth the asking price as is. As for improvements, I'd say use 850 fill down of an amount in line with a iso transfer/comfort rating of 0 degrees. Also it should be ISO tested and advertised. Obviously if you buy a sleeping bag for any temp, you want to be comfortable at that temperature not just survive at that temp. ... show more
