Shipping was fine, item arrived intact. Easy setup Even for first time propane user. Was smaller than I expected, But it works perfectly fine for melting cans and copper. After a few uses the furnace is showing some ware, But it is fully functional. The Graphite crucible included is not the greatest quality, the bottom of mine shattered mid-melt after three sessions Amazon took care of me and the customer service was beyond amazing ... show more

Very efficient, heated up fast in 20 degree weather, and reasonable amount of room to get a tool in between the insulation and the crucible but the tongs that came with it are awkward. It's possible to pour with them, though. I had to make an ingot mold and wasn't able to clean up the crappy welds. Also first time smelting.
