REALLY good quality stuff. I put this up today in 80°for weather and the door is cool to the touch where the other door is very warm through the foam board (that pinkish purple one with the panther on it) to the touch. I highly recommend this. It fit my door great. It is the perfect thickness to sit in the space i needed it in. Installation was a bit difficult because of my personal usage of this item but that only because it's floppy and I used it for a door. No noise reduction so far. Great value for the price. All around happy with this product it works great.

Just what I needed. Had a chimney sweeper come clean it out and get it ready for winter. He pulled it all out and had no idea what it was there for. Tell me you are not a professional without telling me. LOL. So, I needed a new blanket for my stove, and it was perfect!

It was fully expanded in a few minutes. I let it sit for a week but it did not expand any more. It was only about 3/4 inches thick as opposed to the advertised 1 inch (minus 1 star). I used it to insulate around the fireplace exhaust pipe so air would not go from outside into the house. It was very easy to cut and stuff into the space. Works great. It came with a warning: wear gloves, goggles, don't breathe the fibers, which concerned me but I watched some videos and people were handling it without gloves. I can see avoiding breathing ceramic fibers, but otherwise the health concern seemed to be long term like handling it every day. I also found carbon felt which is completely safe and resists heat just as well but it was thin and smaller in size so it would have cost a lot more and it would not have filled the space nearly as well.

I had purchased a pizza oven, but it only had a single layer of steel for the lid. It worked, but took forever to heat up and actually cook the pizza. Enter a custom inner layer of steel and this insulation! It helped to drastically reduce the time to heat up and cook! The material is extremely easy to work with - just cut with scissors or shears. Customize to any shape you need. Great value given the two sheets included. And, with the insulation in place, I can actually touch the outer steel shell of the oven while the inside is at 650 degrees, making it safer to work around.
