So I should preface by stating I've been wearing Bear Paw boots for years so I'm pretty much comparing the differences I've been used to a softer squishier boot with a thicker interior so these boots were a bit of a change. Granted, these have a synthetic interior and are not quite as warm BUT when I need extra warmth, i always wear two pairs of thick fuzzy socks ....so note, i also purchased a half size larger than i needed. Now while this does have a synthetic lining, the difference is in how it wears. I have a habit of curling my toes a lot which does wear down sheepskin/wool insoles and creates an annoying lump but with a synthetic insole/lining, no change so far. The outer sole seems to be a bit sturdier too and felt more like boots and less like slippers and since i practically live in these in winter, this is a plus For the price, these are very worth it so far.

These appear well made. Thick, sturdy sole. Nice fabrics. Warm and cozy. You can roll them down if you do it before you put them on, but you will need to cut the inside tag off cause it shows if you roll them more than an inch. No built-in arch support, but my arch support inserts fit nicely. I’m a 9 in sandals and 8.5/9 in sneakers and heels but the 9 were too large, the 8.5 fits much better.
