Wanted a set, and this item had the cheapest price by far. It works for its intention and price, especially compared to other sets hundreds of dollars more. Fit and finish are cons. I couldn't tell what the downside of a $40 set could be, but then I received the set and realized how they managed to make a $40 dollar set. Cast steel and a quick surface grind is all you get. Wooden handles are epoxied to hammer heads and shipped. Still it's a bargain price for something that doesn't need to be pretty or perfect. It did the job I wanted to do and it didn't fall apart.
