These seem to be a decent set of 1/4" nut drive bits. Magnetic center as advertised. They seem sturdy. But I'm always wary of made in China tools. I've found made in Taiwan tools to be generally superior. I've never had a Taiwanese made tool deform under high torque or pressure. That's not been my experience with Chinese made tools. Needed a set of metric nut drivers to do a window repair on my truck, ordered these and they worked perfectly. I didn't have to worry about the nuts dropping inside the door when disassembling and reassembling, the magnets are very strong and keep the nuts from falling, highly recommend !!

All of the nut drivers I've used to date work well with no signs of appreciable wear. The built in magnets hold the fasteners in all positions securely so drops are a minimum.

These are your basic magnetic nut drivers. They have a quarter-inch hex shaft so they work in tools with quick change and traditional drill-type chucks. The magnets seems adequate for the purpose. However, I would NOT classify them as particularly 'powerful' as their advertisement states. Using the half-inch bit to drive three and a half-inch lag screws requires careful moves. Any quick motion and the lag screw falls from the bit. I purchased this set because I needed a magnetic bit in half-inch size for a particular application; and figured that it would be a good idea to have back-ups for my quarter and five-sixteenths sizes, which I use almost daily. Had to chuckle at the line in their advertisement that indicates these are: "5 hard-to-find larger SAE sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2". I don't know where this seller is, but SAE sizes sure aren't 'hard-to-find' in this part of America. Overall, as the title says, these are OK... For the price. Nothing spectacular, but certainly worth $6.99. Also the shipping wasn't too bad. Always a pleasure to do business with someone who isn't trying to gouge the customer with inflated shipping charges. ... show more

Driving and removing screws is easy with a battery drill motor. But dealing with nuts and bolts has always fell to my manual socket set and torque wrench. These heavy duty duty 6 point sockets with a built-in short extension and a hex drive end perfectly fit a 9, 12 or 18v cordless drill. Wish I had found these sooner! ... show more

I bought these to have some replacements for a larger set I have. The magnets in these are significantly weaker than the set I own, almost to the point of being useless as far as the magnets are concerned.
