Features

  • Thicker Carbon Fiber Rail Tubes Made of carbon fiber and aircraft aluminum, this slider ensures durability while remaining lightweight. Its 22mm rail tube diameter is larger than most camera sliders, providing extra stability and smoothness to your shots. The maximum load capacity is 17.6lb/8kg when placed horizontally, 8.8lb/4kg when tilted up 45 and 4.4lb/2kg vertically
  • Noiseless Smooth Sliding Motion Featuring 4 high precision bearings, the carrier glides smoothly along the 31.5"/80cm rails to create seamless and noiseless video content, without any distracting noises that could ruin the video. A tension knob on the side allows you to position the carriage with ease
  • Adjustable Legs & Spirit Level Comes with adjustable legs that can be set to different angles and heights. The 360 angle control is precise, with each adjustment producing a click sound, while the legs can be adjusted from 8 to 10cm in height for greater stability on uneven surfaces. A built in spirit level helps check the stability after each adjustment
  • Versatile Shooting OptionsWith 1/4" and 3/8" mounting threads on the bottom and each end, this slider can be mounted on a tripod or light stand, and shoot horizontally, vertically, or even at 45 tilt. Compatible with Canon Nikon Sony Panasonic Samsung DSLR cameras, DV Camcorders, mirrorless cameras, telephoto lenses, smartphones (phone holder not included), and more
  • Easy to Carry and Store The aluminum and carbon fiber built design weighs 3.5lb/1.6kg itself, and only weighs 4.4lb/2kg when packed with the included carrying bag, making it easy to carry, transport, and store and perfect for outdoor photography

  • Well made and smooth slider
The media could not be loaded. I used this slider a few times during the summer of 2023 and really enjoyed it. The slider comes in a nice carrying case to keep it both protected and help with organizing the spare parts which there aren't many. The original packaging includes foam end pieces that are really useful in packing so I would strongly suggest keeping them and using them. I show a picture of them in this review. Full disclosure I was using a Nikon Z9 for testing with a 14-24 f/2.8 lens along with a heavy duty video head. The slider rails held up great and performed really well with this heavier load. After unpacking, you can set the slider on a flat surface or tripod mount it and I did both, pictures attached to this review. When setting it on a flat or relatively flat surface you can fold out the legs to level it and raise it off the ground. The feet have nice rubber caps on them to add in stability and slip resistance when you use the rails on a flat surface. When you want to attach the slider to a tripod, you can use one or more of the mounting points either in the middle block or at either end. I found the one in the middle was suitable for my needs if I were cautious. Alternately, you could use two tripods or stands, one at either end, or purchase other Neewer supports to clamp from the ends of the slider down to the feet of your tripod. I'm not sure I needed additional support but I'll be picking them up just in case. As mentioned before, there are a lot of mounting points in the middle and at the end of the rails that allow for alternate attachments. So lets talk about the motion control you're able to achieve. With my setup, I found the slider to be a really great performer. Nice and smooth. The biggest problem I ran into was me not being used to such a smooth slider. There is a slight bit of tension at the ends that you have to overcome to get it started moving but that went away very quickly after a little use. You can tension the slider and hold it in place if you like or fully loosen it for the easiest motions with the least resistance. So where are the weak points? There really aren't any for a piece of gear at this price point. If you're comfortable with a manual movement experience and you have relatively steady hands this will do the job for you. If you have a heavier camera rig and need additional support when not on a flat surface, you should consider mounting this on a dual tripod/stand or picking up the support legs. Great overall product and performance for this price point. ... show more

  • A solid but basic slider for video
We shoot a lot of video for our YouTube channel (well travelled life) and I just added this slider to our tool kit. It's my first experience with a slider and I choose a basic (non-motorized) slider to see how a slider might add some useful dimensions to our videos. The basics: this is a basic slider at 80 cm (about 31 ½ inches, and can be used horizontally, vertically, or some place in between. You can plug your camera directly into the camera platform, but most users will choose to add a tripod head, which is what I have done. With the right adaptor you can also use a cell phone with the slider. The slider comes with a nice quality nylon case. The slider itself weighs about 3.5 pounds or 4.4 pounds inside the case. The slider has adjustable legs if you're using it on a table or other flat surface--the adjustments can help you deal with surfaces that aren't perfectly level. There is a spirit level in the slider itself. The slider can be mounted on a tripod or even a heavy duty light stand (with a ¼ or ⅜ threads on the bottom or either end). If you're using the slider to add movement to a scene, the slider has a weight limit of 17 pounds (camera, lens & tripod head) when used on a level surface, the weight limit decreases progressively as you increase the angle so that at vertical/90 degrees the weight limit is only a little more than 4 pounds--so plan accordingly. My experience with this unit is limited to setting it up and making a few simple videos. The rolling action on the rails (carbon fiber) is smooth and pretty quiet. The utility of a non-motorized slider has some limitations, but the basic functionality and the artistic benefits of using a slider are all still there. I plan to use it mostly indoors, using a semi-permanent set up with an extra tripod (or two). In that scenario, I'll use it for primarily for interviews and product reviews to add depth and movement to our videos. I'll update my review if I identify any real faults or weaknesses. ... show more

  • Smooth operator
This slider is impressive. It's made with high-quality materials and it operates very smoothly. You can hear the bearings when sliding which does not match the "noiseless" description. I still rate it 5 stars.

This product is well made, durable, and runs smooth. I appreciate how well this product is made. The material is strong yet sturdy and glides great. This is not heavy to carry around. I appreciate how nice this makes my photos and videos look.

  • Bring Motion 2 your Film!
Film looks more dramatic when motion is included. I find this tool extremely useful in my in home studio for stop motion video. I was previously using a old train set which I still use for curves. It is adjustable comes with a one year warranty and a really well made case. Also the slider is made of a fairly durable metal and can be mounted on a professional tripod. Add the motion you were looking for or experiment and create a style of movement that brings more life to your projects. Cheers!☕ ... show more
