This is the best knee brace support I've tried. It truly supports, stays up during sports and I can wear all day. Can also cool the gel to keep knee from swelling. Material is soft on skin, flexible and quality -keeps its shape. While you slide on/off like a sleeve, it is not the thin useless sleeve material offered by other brands. Hand wash due to metal stabilizing spring on each side of knee. I have two with knee gel and one shorter Neenca w/o gel/springs. I wear the gel brace for pickleball and have avoided re-injury wearing these for 9mos so far. This brace does well to remind me to pick up my foot and not twist or pivot the knee.

Update as of today, Jul 19, 2023: -------------------------------------- I wrote about this problem to NEENCA Customer Service. They immediately got back to me and told me they understand the problem and right away shipped me another similar knee brace. In these days of often crappy customer service, this response was amazingly on target and highly satisfying. I also read more reviews of this product and believe that the problem I pointed out earlier may be a one-off kind of a quality control problem that the NEENCA folks resolved by sending me a replacement right away. Therefore, I changed my rating to a 5-star rating which both the product and the customer service of this company deserve. Written 3 days ago: -------------------------- I bought this knee brace nearly three weeks ago. The first one I got was a "L" size brace based on the size chart provided by the manufacturer on the product page for this knee brace on amazon website. As noted by many other reviewers, the size chart is not correct and the "L" size sleeve was just too tight for me, and I had to return it and order an "XL" size knee brace. The "XL" size has a good fit with my leg and I certainly found this knee brace to be helpful in reducing my knee pain. It is supportive and the silicone ring around the knee cap feels quite comfortable. However, the quality of this knee brace needs to be improved. While the two plastic stabilizer bars on the two sides bend properly for me and have not broken so far unlike for some other reviewers, the blue cloth inside the sleeve that covers and holds the plastic braces in place has started coming off on one side and it seems it was not glued properly on the sleeve material. I have only worn this knee brace for just about three weeks and it is clear that this cloth is going to come off completely which will mean the stabilizer bars will not be held in place and the knee brace will become useless. I am going to contact the manufacturer and if they don't respond in time, I will return this knee brace to amazon as I still have a small window of time to return it. I am giving it a 3-star rating because the knee brace is otherwise designed to support the knee and does support it, but the manufacturing quality is not what it should be. I hope this review is helpful to other buyers of this knee brace.

This product is very good for knee discomfort. It has a great supportive panel in it which keeps your knee stable. It is comfortable enough to bike and walk in. It is very comfortable and the compression is fantastic to help with knee recovery.

I have been using this knee brace for about a year every time I golf or exercise. It is very comfortable with great support on the knee cap and both sides of the knee. It doesn’t slip down. It helps me feel confident that I will not experience the knee pain after exercise/golf.

This thing looks thick in the pictures and feels even thicker to wear somehow. It doesn't slip or slide or bunch as much as you might imagine, given its bulk and weight. That's not to say it doesn't at all, but once you get out there and start running or whatever, you probably won't have too many issues assuming you get the right size for your legs. That said, there's really no point in my experience. It's weight, its over engineered little gel pockets and the flimsy plastic braces sewn into the sides of this thing do nothing. The gel ring around the knee cap is only good for making sure you have it straight on your knee and the plastic guides sewn inside of it are too weak to keep your knee in line as you move around with it. It might be good for winter runs, as it is incredibly thick and the weave is really dense, but that feels like its only strength. It also has a really tough time with burrs, pulling them off of the fabric causes it to pull out tufts of the material with it, so if you live in a rural area, or run on trails that have weeds that track burrs and stickers, this is basically service built for getting them stuck on it and ruining the look of it when you try to get them off afterwards. If you live in a place that is chilly to downright cold most of the year, this might be something to have in your training arsenal due to its incredible thickness, but otherwise there are much better options in my opinion.
