These sheets are amazing. They are very soft and make it difficult for me to get up in the morning. As others have said, the fitted sheet is big. We have an 18-inch mattress, and there is a lot of slack in it. The flat sheet is also large, which works well for me. I find most Queen flat sheets to be a little too short on the sides. We have washed the set several times and have not had any problems with "wear and tear." We bought the sheets in the dark blue, and it is a lovely color. ... show more

I'm not impressed. These don't feel like sateen sheets. They're not very soft and they're pretty stiff. I like the elastic on all four sides but that's about the best I can say about them.

What weI like and don't like about these queen size sheets is the same thing, i.e. they don't shrink. We like that because we got tired of other brand cotton sheets that kept shrinking and shrinking when washed in hot water and dried in a hot dryer until they no longer fit properly. These sheets come oversized and stay that way. They are more than adequate for a pillow top mattress with a foam topper on top of that . . . a total of 14" in thickness. We've used them for 18 months and wash them every week in hot water and dry them in a high heat dryer. They just won't shrink. As a result, the fitted sheet gets loose and rumpled with multiple wrinkles after the first night. They won't stay tight on the mattress no matter what you do.
