I love this cloak so much I bought one in another color. It is very well made for the price, and it is thick and heavyweight. It does not feel like a costume in the slightest. I wore it outside on a chilly, slightly rainy day for several hours, and it kept me warm and dry all night. However, this cloak is definitely made for someone who is shorter. I am 5'0" and it fits perfectly. The bottom hem sits around my ankles, and the arm holes are at the right height. I wore this for an event one evening, and I had my arms through the holes the entire time. It was comfortable and it was great being able to functionally use my hands. If I were any taller/had longer arms, I could see the arm holes being quite frustrating. However, if you are taller and you don't care about using the arm holes or how it won't be floor length for you, it is a quality product that I would definitely recommend. ... show more

This really is such a beautiful, well-made cloak. It's also heavy-weight. I'm so impressed with the quality and the way it drapes. There is just something I want to mention about the fit. I normally take a medium and that's the size I ordered. The cloak is plenty roomy but fits snugly at the shoulders. It's not too small, but it juuuust fits. If my shoulders were even a 1/2 inch wider, it would be too tight. I'm keeping this size because the rest of it is loose fitting and if I sized up, I think I'd have too much excess fabric hanging all around me. I'm 5'1" so I can get lost in something that's too roomy. So if you know you have shoulders that are a bit on the wider side, you may want to order a size up if you're tall enough to carry the extra fabric without looking like you're drowning in it. Care instructions says machine wash or dry clean, but I would dry clean since it's clear there is enough wool in the fabric to make me think it might shrink if it was machine washed. The other thing I want to mention is the armholes. Other reviews I've seen for this cloak mention the armholes being weird or oddly placed. The description does say that the holes are for the hands only, not the arms. However, I have no problem getting more than my hands through the holes. I can get most of my forearm, nearly to the elbow, through the holes and the cloak still drapes the way it should. Again, maybe because I'm short. Not sure. So, I'm thrilled with this purchase. I absolutely love this cloak! It fits my small frame so well! It's warm but not too warm as it doesn't make me overheat like jackets do-- which is great for Spring & Fall. I don't know if I'll get away with it during Summer or Winter due to how severe the tempatures get. It's soft, sturdy, & has a great flow. I can do everyday things fairly easily with this on. It is heavy but for good reason as it is of top quality & made to be durable. It's just long enough to show my Doc-Marten's too (I'm 5'4" ish)! I'm glad it doesn't touch the floor... How annoying would that be to track dirt everywhere? Overall: Amazing cloak, worth the buy! I'm referring this to all my witchy friends! I added a pin to make it look more unique, I suggest doing something like that as my only complaint is the blandness of the latch. ... show more

Nice capes, color was what I wanted . Good length for me not too heavy , not too thick ,but warmer than a sweater. The only issue is that the hem is uneven and bunches up in the back on the seam. Ive washed and dried the cape and then ironed out the hem to straighten out the punching. Didn't work. The uneven hem is noticeable and disappointing. Armholes are strangely put. Hoping that the cape was more flowing like other capes I've had. Almost sent it back, but I'll keep it. I could still use it as a blanket on the plane and in theaters. Unfortunately I really wanted to like this Cape, and I really really was trying to convince 🤩myself to keep this cape, it was long enough for me, because I’m 5’9 1/2, I don’t have HUGE SHOULDERS, the Material was warm and very soft, the lining of the item was sewn in excellent on the inside, it just had no professional detailed Stitching to bring out any character out in the damn thing🤨, It was as though somebody just Cut out a pattern of a cape and just started sewing 🧵it together, there was a large placed button around the neck part of this item and it was practically choking me Around the throat to DEATH 😫 because of the material Being too heavy. It wasn’t detailed properly or had any nice designs to even bring it to life, and I’m like who would even sell Anything like this, it even looks worse in Person😖, the arm section where you place your arms, your aims are supposed to be able to move freely in it there was only enough room for you to just get your elbows threw and again I’m like what is this a defect or is it cut intentionally for only skinny arms OK I’ve had enough of trying to figure out how this Cape is supposed to be worn so I’m gonna give it back to the retailer and maybe they can figure it out on their own on how this item is supposed to worm , DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, ... show more

    • Nice Quality, but arm and neck openings are sewn incorrectly.

The cape is lovely, but can't use arm openings, they are too high, too small and different hights. The neck closure is way too tight. I'm a size Small or 4/6 , and I am unable to use the closure. They need a better pattern because the material and lining are very nice.
