My dog has allergies and finding a food that works well with him and isn’t breaking the bank is hard to find. The salmon is his favorite and helps keeps the itching at a minimum. I also love that I can get different size bags if needed.

My dogs love salmon, so naturally, I had to try this dry food from Nature's Recipe. At first, they sniffed it, then tried a few kibble pieces. Next thing you know, they're eating it with more enthusiasm than the other brand of dog food. This was our second choice for this type food, salmon, sweet potato and this one has bonus of pumpkin. The price is much better than other brand we tried. I can not comment on flavor, I am not tasting the dog food for your answer or rate of flavor. But our dog has no complaints. As for picking up after him from this food, it's pretty much like the other more expencive brand. I do recommend this dog food to anyone looking for this combination of salmon and sweet potatoe. I do also this the bonus of pumpkin is a wonderful addition. So definately give this on a try. I will purchase again, shipping was fast and great. ... show more

My Frenchie was eating Victor Brand per the breeder and her stomach as ALWAYS upset .. I switched to this Brand with the recipe containing Pumpkin and salmon and she absolutely Loves it and her stomach is completely healthy and happy and he coat is nice and shiny and soft as a matter of fact the smell and taste of this food is so good my CATS even try to eat it !! and they're super finicky ... show more
