This is one of the few foods my 15yr Heeler mix really LOVES. She has been eating it for a few weeks now and is very happy with it. ere. I wish I could do more raw feedings but it is very expensive so I have to do a mix with dry kibble as the base. Nature's recipe for my oldest seems to be working just fine for her since she is VERY picky in her old age. The only complaint I have is the canola oil in it. It doesn't look like a big component on the ingredient list but I wish they would use something else. Canola oil is not good for us either. The price is very good as well.

I was searching frantically for a dog food with healthy ingredients. My Beagle/mix was having severe problems wth yeast infection He smelled awful, and scratched all the time. Even though he was taking Vet prescribed flea/tick medicine - his scratching was continuous. I took him back to the Vet for t
he stinky, itchy problem, because I thought he had mange He diagnosed him as having yeast. Well, I gave him the itch medicine, along with the antibiotic for about 2 weeks. He did stop stinking and itching, but I knew it wouldn't last long. The antibiotics help, but it doesn't get to the root of tbe problem. I had been doing research and found that he had a "gut" issue. I found out that his diet was the reason the yeast kept coming back. I had to get rid of all the fillers, such as potatoes, corn, gluten, wheat, grains, soy, and fillers. I found this dog food, and decided to give it a try. He loves the taste, and he is no longer itching and scratching. I'm so glad to have found this product. This, along with medicated shampoo and raw treats has practically alleviated all his symptoms. Now, he won't have to stay on antibiotics - which were killing his gut flora. I will be buying more.

I don’t usually have time to write reviews but I had to! I have a 4.6 lb long haired 2 1/2 year old Chihuahua who has been itching/scatching herself. Not really bad but from experience (had a previous short hair Chihuahua who itched/scratched as well and was put on a grain free diet). Not sure if thi
s is because of a grain allergy but thought I’d try. I literally just got the product (so I’ll see and write a follow up if it helps her itching). However, I took her other food (Royal Canin for Chihuahuas - a great brand and not cheap) but she usually just nibbles a bit. I put this product in her bowl and she ALL OF IT in one sitting!! She’s napping now and definitely is satisfied. If you’re looking for a dry dog food for your smaller dog, this is it. The pieces are not hard as a rock but not squishy either! Even if she still itches, I’ll keep giving her this food.

Excellent reasonably cost food choice.

If you have English Bulldogs or a dog with sensitive stomach, try this brand. The kibble is an excellent reasonably cost choice compared to the higher costly product. It is rated number 3 of 10 as kibble choice for English bulldogs.
