Tasty, Gentle, and Nutritious Choice for Dogs I’ve been very impressed with this Nature’s Recipe Grain Free Dry Dog Food. The lamb, sweet potato, and pumpkin recipe hits a nice balance of flavor and nutrition. My dog dove right in from the very first bowl and hasn’t lost interest since, which is always a good sign with dry kibble. The pieces are small enough for medium to large breeds to crunch easily, and the food doesn’t have that overly strong or artificial smell that some brands carry. The grain-free formula is a real plus, especially for dogs with sensitivities. I’ve noticed my dog’s digestion has been smoother—less stomach upset and firmer stools—since switching. The addition of pumpkin seems to help with that, and his coat has also become shinier, which I attribute to the better balance of protein and nutrients. The bag is a manageable 12 pounds, which makes it easy to pour and store without being too heavy. It also reseals well to keep the kibble fresh. The dogs really ;like this food. wish it came in small breed size. Had to go someplace else to purchase. The price went up a tad more then other places.
