I have 3 small dogs. 2 are older chihuahua mixs and one is a younger beagle/dachshund mix from a rescue. Millie is a great and lovable dog but she is afraid of everything and barks incessantly at anything strange inside or outside the house that she can see. She gets the other 2 started and its a pain to calm them all down. Millie also follows her people around the house all day or evening and is generally very nervous when we are not in her sight. The first day I used this product I was happy with the scent but did not expect much. I did not spray it directly on the dogs. I sprayed a good bit in my hand and just petted all 3 of them. I work from home and by noon I noticed that all 3 dogs were lounging comfortably and Millie was not following me around the house whenever I got up. The real test, however, was when someone came over and that happened the next evening. It normally takes about 15 minutes for Millie to stop barking when someone enters the house and it was very difficult to calm her down. If the visitor (most of whom she knows) would approach her, she would pee on the floor in fright. Within 3 minutes of applying the spray, Millie calmed down, stopped barking and laid down while my wife and her sister visited on the porch. We did not hear any barking for the rest of the evening so I am sold on this product at least for my 3 dogs. I bought this for my cat and the reviews are mostly for dogs, so I went in curious but not really expecting anything. It’s my first time trying any kind of pet cologne. I have an elderly long hair indoor Mainecoon cat that I brush daily since in his advanced age he’s gotten lazier with grooming and wanted to add something into his brushing regiment that would make his fur soft and smell like not cat food. At first I was nervous he would be scared of the spray, but the product comes out a quiet non-threatening fine mist and not like a wet squirty blast. He didn’t notice it at all. I lightly misted him and then proceeded to brush him as normal. His fur was sooo silky soft at the end! I like pretty feminine floral scents so I blind bought the Lilac scent. Omg I love it! When it dries down after the brushing, my cat smells so clean. Idk what a real lilac smells like, but this smells EXACTLY like classic Nivea body lotion. That fresh out the shower beautiful woman smell. Also, contrary to most of the reviews I’ve read, this scent actually lasts a long time on my cat. Maybe it lasts shorter on dogs because of active lifestyle or hair type? Or formulas for different scents are different? Idk. Will buy again! Been looking for a fragrance pet spray for my cat and dog and after reading the good reviews on this I decided to try the Baby Powder scent and omg it smells very good and lasts! It is a little overpowering at first so I recommend only a few sprays but the overpowering settles after a few minutes. The smell is as advertised. Baby powder isn't my favorite scent, but all the good reviews were for the baby powder scent, so I was kind of scared to try anything else. It helps cover up the stench of the skunk my idiot dog tried to make friends with, which is pretty impressive. I bought this for my dog Buddy. A few days after a bath he starts smelling like, well a dog. So to keep him smelling 'good' for more days I'm trying this as my first dog perfume.
