I love the idea of environmentally friendly sponges, because why not? The sponges are good and have a very similar shape to the classic scotch brite sponges I've used for years. I do notice that it is not as good as the scotch brites, and the scrub side is a bit less "scrubby". It also tends to absorb the soap a bit more than lather, but either way it works fine, and has been durable enough to consider it as an adequate replacement for my every day sponge. ... show more

I am a bit of a clean freak, and I like to have everything in my house in its place. Sponges are a necessity of mine, and I use one at least three times a day. I go through a lot of sponges… These particular sponges are of high quality construction. They last for a long time, and don’t fall apart on you while you use them. The scratchy side has good scrubbing power, and the spongy side holds water well. The only drawback I would say is that the white spongy side does discolor if you have to wipe up messes that have pigment in them. However, this can also let you know when your sponge is clean when you rinse it out. If you are looking for advice from a sponge connoisseur, I highly recommend these. ... show more

These are great natural sponges. They scrub well. They work well to remove stuck on food. I appreciate that they are eco-friendly.

The kitchen sponges came in a box, nicely packed in a recyclable box, which is a good sign that the manufacturer is trying to keep the environment eco friendly. The sponges are biodegradable, so the material does not have PE or PU, and since these get thrown away almost weekly basis doe to grime that attracts bacteria that causes foul smell, plenty of the are dumped in landfills. So I am all in with the types that degrade with time and get back to earth safely. The sponges are safe to use and clean dishes nicely as the scratch pad is thick with hard material while the sponge is soft and absorbs water sufficiently. ... show more
