This majestic Majestic Fir tree is 24 inches tall and 18 inches in diameter at the bottom, perfect for entryways and doors. Friends and family alike will marvel at how the tree closely mimics those outside. Made to look and feel lifelike, the stunning realism of the tree is defined by its close attention to detail, featuring hundreds of individually crafted branch tips that make up the wide, full-bodied branches that create space for your lights and ornaments. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 35 UL lights prior to packaging and includes an ornate, cloth bag base for a more convenient setup. The lights operate individually, so if the bulb lens has not been cracked or broken, the light set will continue to illuminate except for any individual bulbs that are not working. The lights are powered by 2 AA batteries (not included). I was attracted by the shape and the base - by the way, the color red is perfect, not a cheap red, but a deep royal velvet red. I find the lights quite enough and secure to the branches that can be opened in whichever way. I decorated it with red berries and a few other trinkets and it is perfect. Yes, the length of the chord is a bit short, need a plug nearby (which worked in my case) or an extension, but too long would have been unsightly. As for it being realistic, it is enough, and honestly I prefer its soft “needles” to the hard plastic kinds. I am partial to big real trees, but as fake ones go this rivals them in cuteness. Cute little tree. Able to stretch the branches out to give it good shape. I do think it could use a few more lights. That is my only complaint. That being said, I am not sending it back because I have the perfect spot for it in my window. Price was fair.

Update: I thought this may be useful information for anyone unsure about this item - I just put my tree up for the third year and it looks like new. The lights came on, as soon as the cord was plugged into the outlet. It really does add holiday cheer with minimal decorating effort! I've always wanted a bit of the holidays in my office/bedroom, so when I saw this little tree, I impulsively placed an order. I'm very glad I did - it was easy to set up and decorate. Within 25-30 min., all was completed. A couple of things to mention - you may need an extension cord, as the one attached is pretty short (approx 36") and when removing the tree from the box, make sure you take it out by it's base end, so the branches remain folded properly. Then, shape and fluff, add some small ornaments and it's ready for display. Regarding ornaments, I purchased an inexpensive set with 24 (40 mm) which turned out to be a good number and size. This tree is nicer than I expected - very full and symmetrical. The weighted base is draped in burgundy fabric and tied with gold cord, as seen in the product photo. I'm very happy with my choice and would recommend this item for gifting or providing additional holiday sparkle... UPDATE - 12/3/18 - Some other reviews noted problems with the lights. After enjoying this little tree every evening since it arrived, there have been no issues. Also, for my needs, the number/amount of pre-strung lights seems perfectly adequate. As an FYI, the base is weighted nicely to provide good stability, should that be of concern. Happy Holidays to all! ... show more
