This majestic Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 10 feet tall and 78 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches, creating a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. I'M SHOCKED! For some reason I wasn't expecting much but I am extremely & pleasantly surprised at the construction, quality, lighting, and ease of setting up this, artificial, pretlit, Christmas tree. I love the incandescent bulbs bcz they're so much warmer than the LED bulbs. It's November 2nd and I wanted to set it up, immediately, when I received it to make sure it would suit my expectations and so that I could return it before time ran out. This one is 4.5ft tall and the perfect size for my space at home. You'll need to, "fluff", the branches to your liking. It took me about 20-30 mins to do that but I'm picky. I'll leave it in the home office for now until after Thanksgiving but I can't wait to display this tree in my family room all decorated. Thank you, National Tree Company! ... show more

My wife and I wanted to replace our 12 plus year old 7.5 foot artificial tree with a 6.5 foot artificial tree with attached lights and the new "Feel Real" branches. We looked at every store in our area and looked at many online. We didn't see any that looked good. We found this tree on Amazon and it seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. We ordered it and hoped for the best. It arrived today and we put it together, tested the lights, and "fluffed" the branches for around 30 minutes. The end result was a great looking tree. We moved from Oregon (land of real Christmas trees) to North Carolina. We decided to buy a fake tree instead of spending $100 or more on a real (throw away) tree. We set up our new tree from National Tree Company to make sure we liked it before the Christmas season. We absolutely love it! It looks so real (you can't tell unless your up close) and feels pretty close to a real one too. I can no longer decorate a 6 1/2-foot tree. This one is nice for the price. I wish it was 6 inches taller, and a bit wider. Easy to put together. Better than any we saw in the box stores.

Just set up our new beautiful tree but disappointed in the quality of the attached lights. One of the light sets was out and I discovered it was from a loose wire. It’s a lot of money for a tree to have faulty wiring.

This is a review of the 4 1/2 foot version of this tree. I was tempted to give this beautiful tree 5 stars. We bought it to replace wonderful 4 1/2 footer we bought at target a couple of decades ago that had finally given up the ghost. This tree by "National Tree' is really nice. Aesthetically, one couldn't ask for a prettier tree. It didn't take long at all to the get the branches properly folded out and into their proper positions. The same thing you need to do with any artificial tree after removing it from the box after a long 11 months in storage. The only thing I found lagging in this three is the idiotic arrangement of the wiring. In every two piece artificial tree I have ever owned a SINGLE male plug from the top half comes down not much further than the top of the bottom half of the tree. Why? Well, it's because that is where the SINGLE female end of the bottom tree half is located. There is a single male plug for the top half that plugs conveniently into a single female plug for the bottom half of the tree. Well, not on this one. To begin with, there are a total of 5 female/male plugs that all get plugged in one after another so that you end up with a totem pole of 5 plugs all clustered at the base of the tree. The top half has two plugs that come plugged into each other and then need to run all the way to the bottom of the tree to form the top two plugs in the 5-plug totem pole along with the three plugs from the bottom half of the tree. To begin with the plugs in the top half are wound around the trunk of the tree so that they need to get unwound in order to stretch all the way to the bottom to be plugged into the three bottom half plugs. Its a pain in the gluteous maximus. That wouldn't be such a pain except no where in the instructions does it let you know that its going to be such a chore. I mean who the heck thinks they are going to require instructions with a two piece artificial Xmas tree for goodness sake??? I finally had to look at the instructions because I couldn't work out where to plug in the top half of the tree! It never occurred to me that it plugged in all the way down at the bottom of the tree! Finally, the happy result of all this is that if you have a lit tree topper, which we do, the short little chord that usually, with no problem, reaches the female half of the female/male plug for the top half of the tree no longer does reach it because that plug is now all the way down at the bottom of the tree- instead a short distance down from the top. So you need to use a bloody extension chord, threaded through the branches, in order to plug in the tree topper. Like I said, a pain the rear. I suppose we will be used to it after this year so it wont seem such a bother next year. But still. Bad design on the wiring set up. All in all though- it is a beautiful tree. Too bad the wiring is so weird. ... show more
