This majestic Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 9 feet tall and 71 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Friends and family alike will marvel at how the tree closely mimics those outside. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches to create a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 900 Dual Color LED lights prior to packaging and includes a sturdy, metal base for a more convenient setup. The Dual Color LED bulbs can alternate between white and multicolor lights and includes a switch to control ten different light functions, allowing the bulbs to twinkle, flash or fade on either color setting. The lights operate individually, so if the bulb lens has not been cracked or broken, the light set will continue to illuminate except for any individual bulbs that are not working. This tree also includes PowerConnect, an additional feature where the wires run through the middle pole of the tree, eliminating the need for extension cords and plugs in the branches. This is my fourth year with this tree and I still love it. I find it looks very natural, and I love how easily I can pull it out and set it up every year. The star was hard to place on top at first, but I found the top branch could be folded over, and then the star slid on perfectly. Pro tip: don't set the whole thing up before fluffing. Put the bottom piece in the base and keep the branches folded up against the trunk. Fluff the bottom-most branches. Let down the second layer and fluff those. And so on, until all the branches on the bottom piece are fluffed. Then add on the middle section, and repeat the fluffing process with each layer of branches on the center section. And then the top. You get the point. It's time consuming to fluff it up every year, sure, but with a drink in hand and a Christmas movie playing it'll be done before you know it. And it's a LOT easier and faster than getting a real tree home, into a base, and standing up straight!!! ... show more

You are really wasting $100+ if you buy this tree (with PowerConnect) over the exact same National Tree with the regular two cord connect. Everything is EXACTLY the same except for two major differences. The cheaper model simply requires you to hand screw together two connections to link the lights for the three tree sections. The more expensive model has these connections built into the poles. So once you connect the three tree sections you are done. The cheaper model takes you three minutes longer. But who is to say which method will last longer? Because at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters with these trees - how long will the lights last. So I do not see the PowerConnect having any significant advantage over the traditional wiring. But even a bigger difference is that both trees claim to have 900 lights. They do not. The cheaper tree definitely has more lights. Everyone who has looked at them side by side at our house agrees (I got one for my house and one for my parent’s house). Look at the picture I attached and it is obvious. So for me there are two huge reasons not to buy the more expensive version of this tree. You are actually getting much less value ... show more

Overall we like this tree. It is definitely better than others we have looked at. From across the room it looks very life-like. It has a nice amount of lights. The shaping and separating of branches is A LOT of work.... takes some patience to shape it and fill in the gaps.

Love love love that this tree assembles so easy and I no longer have to fuss with the cords for each section. It took about an hour to fluff it up and she’s beautiful. Nice amount of bulbs and extra bonus having the different light modes.

The media could not be loaded. This tree looks beautiful. I bought it back in august or September but didn’t get it up until now for obvious reasons. I did put it together just for a minute when I got it to make sure all the lights were working and there were no issues (didn’t want to miss the return window if that was the case, fortunately I had no issues there, even though the box it came in looked like it had been spit out by a trash compactor, it still worked fine). I’m happy with it. I do wish that all of the tips were “real feel” tips. Only the outer tips are real feel, the inner tips are the regular crappy looking kind I was hoping to not even have to see again. For the price, I really think they should all be “real feel” tips. See photo above. Love the power connect feature. It made set up a breeze. The lights are beautiful as well. Even though they are LED lights they still have that incandescent look, which I love. This is definitely an upgrade from what I had. I gave this tree 5 stars but important note: I’ve seen nicer trees with 1200 lights for around $450 at Lowe’s (last year, anyway). They had one in particular I fell in loved with but I held off on buying. The main reason I didn’t go back to Lowe’s to get that tree is because I was able to pay in installments with 0% APR on this tree. So if budget is not a factor, you may want to check out some of the trees at Lowe’s or Home Depot because they really do have beautiful trees for around the same price or possibly even less.     • I was nervous… but turns out the tree is gorgeous

The media could not be loaded. For decades, even before we were married, we had a real tree as our main family tree. I have loved the smell and texture. It was a tradition for the boys to go with dad to pick one out and set it up. But those trees have been getting more and more expensive. And the boys aren’t living at home (well, the baby is in college - by the time he gets home it’ll be too late to get a good quality real tree). Hubby said he was tired of the work involved with the real tree and begged me to get an artificial one. I sulked like a spoiled kid, but I knew the day was coming. I did a lot of research. Ultimately I simply didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a tree. I didn’t think I should have to. My research and budget constraints led me to this one. I was really worried it would look like plastic and feel like rubber. But my concerns were a waste of good brain cells. This tree is gorgeous. There are two kinds of branches. The puffy ones on the ends feel soft to the touch- very similar to a real tree. I opted for one with the multiple light options. That was the one perk I allowed myself when it came to weighing prices. I’m so glad I did. Having used only white lights for decades, I’m excited to have multi-color options. I LOVE the fade from white to color! The next test will be how long the lights stay working. I have a pencil-sized tree in our front room window. It’s going on 15 years old and is still working. I’m hoping this will last just as long. ... show more
