Iโ€™ve been wanting a fuller tree for a long time and finally decided to buy one. I got the 7.5โ€™ unlit and canโ€™t wait to put it up this Christmas and look at it in years to come! It definitely requires sufficient fluffing but itโ€™s worth it!

The tree I received was not new, it was used, at least for long enough to collect dust and scrape paint off the bottom area of the trunk where its put together. It wasn't heavily used or anything but it wouldn't surprise me if it had been the floor model somewhere or something. It was really dusty for some reason and got my allergies going. I also found out why it was returned, if it was. It shouldn't have been sold without replacing the bottom T frame that holds the tree up as the soldering was faulty on one part and the bar goes upward with any weight applied. I fixed it as best as I could for now using gorilla tape on the leg that was bending upward at the soldering and pulling free of the smaller stabilizing bar under it, at least it can't go up far now unless both bars bend together. It still doesn't sit straight and I had to put something under the opposite side to help even up the space still left. I bought this tree last spring and took my chances on trusting that it was in the described condition. That was my fault for trusting something I didn't inspect upon arrival, so I am going to keep the tree and look into replacement parts. I paid way to much for the issues I now have to fix, but I didn't pay full price at least. However, if I had gotten a new tree like I was supposed to then I would have considered it well worth the money. Its a nice looking tree once you finish "fluffing" it out. I love how there is room for my ornaments to actually hang throughout the branches and not just lay on the outside. Its one of the more realistic looking trees and I love how the ends of the branches are molded plastic with realistic coloring. The overall shape and the way the branches sit is close to the real version of this particular type of tree too. I've seen plenty of them all over when on vacation in Colorado. Once I finish wiping everything down to get rid of the dust and get the lights on it will be fun to decorate. I will definitely be storing it assembled and enclosed in a tree storage bag so that I don't have to mess with all the lights and stuff again for a few years. Overall, I am a bit disappointed, but not enough to go through the trouble to try and exchange it for a new one. It is definitely the style I want and I would send back the bottom frame to exchange if needed but its not worth sending back the whole tree. Once I get the issues fixed I hope I can enjoy this tree for years to come. I will be quite satisfied with it once its fixed. ... show more

I have only 2 complaints..One of the hinges on the lowest branch seems to be broken so the branch falls too low and hits the floor. And the day after I bought this it went on sale for $100 less and I thought the company would honor the lower price but they told me to cancel the order and reorder it at the lower price. When I tried to do that the lower price was no longer available. Those 2 things aside this tree is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. The first picture is fresh out of the box...scary, huh?. After a day of fluffing and tweaking I think it looks as close to real as you'll ever get in an artificial tree. The second picture is lights only and the last picture is all finished. I couldn't be happier. The tips of the branches are plastic which gives it an authentic look. The inner branches are easily bent...you need to bend some up and some down to hide the concentric circle look you get if you bend them all upwards which is how I started out. This is the first time I have not had a "cut it in the field" tree since I retired to Florida. The trees down here sit out in the heat starting in November so by Christmas they can get pretty dried out. That's why I have been looking for a tree like this. I couldn't be happier...except for that branch that hangs low (but not worth returning as I just hold it up with lights) and paying $100 more than if I had waited for Cyber Monday. Well, after fighting with the tree for two days, I think I'm finally satisfied. This (Frasier Grande Fir 7 ft.) tree can definitely mimic a real one. I've fooled a couple of people with photos today. But it takes some work. Actually, quite a bit of work. Avoid if you are not at least a mildly patient person. I've rearranged mine almost to the point of obsession (ahem), looking at it from various angles until I felt confident that I had filled in every gap where the metal pole in the middle showed through. Another reviewer was complaining about the use of false, flimsy, tinsel-like leaves (the kind they use in cheap artificial trees and that shed everywhere) as filler, but that's on purpose. The tinsel leaves are on the interior part of the branches, and you're supposed to use those...well, as filler. Bending them, lifting them up, keep working until you've completely hidden the middle of the tree. Then the high quality plastic leaves cap each of the branches to give the tree authentic texture. Again, patience is key. By the time I was done lifting up all the tinsel leaves and using them to cover the gaps, I had scratches all over my hands and arms almost like I'd been attacked by a cat. I've included two photos, one with and without lights. I'm taking a break for the day, then I'll start the real tree decorating tomorrow. Moral of the story: this is a great quality tree that, if taken care of, should last a lifetime. But I wouldn't recommend it if you're not prepared to work with it to make it look like the real thing. ... show more

This tree is great! It's our first fake tree. Very lifelike if you take the time to fluff the branches. I initially gave the end of the branches a slight bend down which ended up looking odd - like the tree had wilted. Looks much better with most of branch ends sticking out with a slight up bend. the more attention you pay to "fluffing" the more natural tree will look. We opted for the tree without lights thinking that it would look more realistic when we added our own lights - very happy we went that decision. Very happy with this tree - its worth the money - no complaints from our kids - I would suggest that you buy the White First Pine scented sticks to hang in the tree. ... show more
