I wouldn't say this is the perfect coffee table, but it was absolutely perfect for our space! Sturdy and stable and made with beautiful materials. I haven't really felt worried about putting anything on it, this coffee table seems to hold whatever you need it to, and you can store additional items nicely on the wood surface below. Obviously, the glass top is a glass top, which means you're likely to see streaks, dust, and fingerprints. But if cared for properly, it really looks fantastic! Really is just like the picture. A little over a year after buying this table, the glass shattered in the middle of the night with no apparent triggers. It was a laborious cleanup that took around 2 hours. Of course it was pretty frustrating. I sent a picture to Nathan James and explained what happened and within the day they responded asking for my address to send a new table. I thought that was great and once we got the new table I figured it had been solved in a satisfactory way. A little bit later, though, they sent me these chocolates. I've never had a company smooth things over in that way, but I really enjoyed the chocolate :) and I appreciated the quick resolution and lack of hoops to jump through. So I will continue to recommend the brand and hopefully that incident was just a one-off. ... show more

Customer Service actually got this table an extra star. The glass top came shattered into a million tiny pieces. Both CR’s that I spoke with were absolutely wonderful and they resolved the problem the same day. The table is great size for a small room and the design is very nice but the finish looks a bit cheap in comparison to other items with same finish that I bought from another site. ... show more

Unique table since you don’t find oval shape often. I didn’t want the room to be so boxy with a long rectangle table. After searching finally found the perfect option. It was super easy to assemble. I did so solo in about 15 minutes. It’s definitely a bit warmer toned than I expected but still works. I was hoping for a light natural wood but it’s a bit on the golden side. It goes perfect with my living room decor! It's simple but really makes a statement, I just cannot get over how cute of a table it is! I took away a star because of the assembly. It wasn't hard at all but halfway the screws used for Step1 didn't want to thread at all, I ended up force threading 3 out of 4 of them, the last one would not budge and I didn't want to drill it down and risk stripping it all together. Regardless the table is still super sturdy and secure, it was just a pain in the a s s ! Overall though, I absolutely love the table! Definitely recommend it! ... show more

The table itself is very pretty and simple to put together. It maybe took 5-10 minutes with me and my husband. Overall it feels very sturdy and good quality, however the tone of the stain/wood is a bit more yellow than how it appears in the advertised pictures in my opinion.
