I ordered 2 lipsticks and one arrived with an empty tube, no lipstick in the tube. I opened the complete one first and saved the second until I ran out, then when I needed it the tube was empty.

Want the perfect red? This is your lipstick. I was wary at first but yes, this lipstick probably does have the ability to look great on anyone. I'm not a natural red lipstick wearer...I have light skin and am really pleased with how this red doesn't make you look like a crazy lady for wearing it. On a different note, like I said- this lipstick seems to be magic lipstick. The texture is not of Revlon or lipsticks you can find at the drug store. Instead of glossing across your lips, this lipstick is almost dry- but in a good way. I think I prefer it to the opposite because maybe this is why it lasts so long. Also, I seemed to take my time putting it on...Because where you put it is where it will stay. The con? This lipstick may be magical, but there's not much magic in it...About 1 inch of product, actually. Probably slightly less, if I'm going to get critical. For $26.00 it's a good thing this sucker lasts because otherwise I would be upset. Overall, yes, I would splurge on this again.Because it lasts through eating and drinking and practically all day. I'm in love with it...just not the price tag, but I feel like that is something you already know before buying...which is why I gave it 5 stars. ... show more

I love this color and formula. I couldn't find it in stores anymore and had given up when I thought "what the hell, Amazon has everything" and they do. I love NARS it is a great company with great products and Scarlet Empress is one of my favorite go to colors.

The color is really lovely on me , Im 63 with brown hair that has a few silver streaks , slight olive skin. this scarlette is really beautiful on my complexion. the formula is pigmented well and not drying just a really great lipstick.
