The most important things to know about me in order to decide whether to consider my opinion: I'm 64, I have very fair skin (very fair, but neither white/alabaster nor warm/yellow toned), my skin is dry and has some sun damage, I tend to dark circles around my eyes, and now there are little veins in my forehead. Now that I've ruled out 95% of readers, let me say to the rest of you: If I had to take back every other 5-star review I've ever given to any product of any kind in order to give this product 5 stars, I would. It's that miraculous. I wish it was around decades ago and if my house catches fire, probably I'll grab this before leaving. I have never, ever, in five decades of trying, found a shade of foundation that truly, deeply, astonishingly perfectly matches my skin! that ALONE is worth the purchase! Not all 'fair' toned skin is WARM and I have spent decades looking orange or yellow and awful as a result. This product offers a cool and very fair shade that is not stark white. (My shade is not included among those sold here, so I had to go elsewhere to purchase, but this is an honest review by a real buyer). I cannot rave enough about the coverage (natural! slight glow--not dry and cakey at all!) and you can go light or build easily to accomplish your goal. And a little goes a LONG way-- I use 2 (max 3) tiny pumps on the back of my hand and, with a good foundation sponge and fast work, that is more than adequate and SUPER simple. I continue to be astonished at the result (sponging to build lightly even hides the veins) and only rarely reach for a concealer. Buy and use a good primer and foundation sponge, use less than you'd expect to need to use, build if needed, and you'll notice a huge difference (NARS website notes this product is not intended for use with a foundation brush, which may explain many customers' unpleasant results). ... show more

This is my holy grail foundation for a fair neutral undertone (mont blanc). It is not too dewy yet not matte, a perfect balance. This doesn't dry out over the day or set into fine lines as well. This is one of the few foundations that is actually worth the money and does not bother my acne prone kin. I recently lost my makeup bag and trust me, nothing makes you re-evaluate what products are actually important better than losing everything and being mindful of what you actually replace and use on a daily basis!
