NARS Orgasm blush does just what its name implies. The rose blush with a gold shimmer makes me GLOW like I just enjoyed myself VERY MUCH. Or, if I'm under the weather or running on empty, it can actually counteract the greenishy-grey pallor I sometimes get. This is the first blush I've found to magically do this in the 18 years I've worn blush. But that is if and only if used in moderation. Too much can actually make me go from actually feeling awesome to looking like I'm covering up a week of sleepless nights. I think it's too much shimmer. Looks unnatural. So put it on lightly, especially on the apples of your cheeks (but remember, when you do blush/flush, you glow all over), finish the rest of your makeup, even take a few minutes away from the mirror, then reevaluate whether you maybe need more. I have extraordinarily fair skin with pink undertones and dark blond hair. I tend to wear only "lighter than light" concealer under my eyes (by The Balm), blush (and a dash of pale bronzer by Maybelline in summer), and lip gloss (LipFusion in Summer). Dressing up, I put on mascara (still haven't found one I love). Minimalist, and I don't love shimmer. But I love looking healthy. That said, this blush is billed as a blush for all skin tones, and I know it looks great on light and medium skin with both pinky and peachy undertones. The "Super Orgasm" has too much gold for my skin and too much shimmer for my preferences, but this has just the effect I need. ... show more

This blush is flattering on my medium skin tone. It has just a little shimmer for a nice effect. I like that it looks natural on my face. It lasts about four hours before I need to reapply a light brush.

I love this blush so much - the color is beautiful and peachy, golden. I usually wear bronzer all the time to give my skin a "pop" of color, but with this blush no bronzer is needed because it already has a gold sheen to it. While the blush in the powder form is great - also try the multiple in it. I recieved a sample of The Multiple in Orgasm and I've enjoyed it much better than the actual powder blush of Orgasm. Both these items are the same colors, just The Multiple is a creamier, stick version that's great to put on the apple of the cheeks, then sweep the blush powder over the applied area. But, overall - I love this blush! It's everything people have made it out to be. Plus, it lasts a long time - it's only been 2 months, and I'm just now hitting the pan to where I can see some silver coming through! I am a self-proclaimed makeup junkie. I love shopping at Sephora to try new things, but I always order my old standbys here. Well, I had been hearing about this blush for years, and decided to order it here before trying it first. When I opened up the package I was first disappointed at the size. It was the smallest little compact of blush I'd ever seen and I'd never spent that much on blush before. The next morning when I was applying my makeup I tried it, heeding the warnings that a little goes a long way. I was blown away!! I usually look pale and a little washed out without lipstick, but for some reason with this blush a little gloss looks amazing! It brightens every feature; I have ivory skin with freckles and blue green eyes. My eyes were so blue green! And as for the reviews that say there is too much glitter, I would disagree. I notice a bit of shimmer, but no actual chunks of glitter. It has the right amount of glow for me, and I'm 37. My next purchase will be Albatross as a highlighter, hopefully I will be as happy as I am with Orgasm! If you are in doubt, just try it. You will be pleasantly suprised! ... show more
