Have had to wear orthotic shoes for years due to severe PF and heel spurs. Naot and Vionic brand highly recommended to me by an orthopedic foot specialist. Have worn all styles of Vionics for years but price point on Naot always made me hesitant…although Vionics don’t come cheap, either. But have been looking for a strappy sandal in a light brown for a while and Naot honestly had the only style that appealed to me. Sandals are honestly the hardest shoe to find when you’re like me and have heel issues, so I just considered this an investment and bought my size…BIG mistake! Believe the reviews. They do run short. I am an honest to goodness size 10 in every shoe I own and my toes were hanging off the size 10. Returned for size 11 and length was perfect. Pros: *Great arch and heel bed support for troublesome feet *Break in was easy. Extremely comfortable from the start. *Well made. Super soft leather. Velcro closure allows for more flexibility in fit around ankle. *Very cute and look good on my larger foot. (Certain strappy sandals are just not made for bigger feet…just sayin.) *My feet do not hurt in these shoes. The week after I got them, I went to a conference and walked up to 10,000 steps a day in these puppies and my heels were fine. That’s no small thing in my experience. They passed the ultimate test. Cons: *Buying up a size made the shoe a bit wider than I like. My foot doesn’t flop around, but I just have to make sure I tighten the Velcro strap a bit more for a better fit. The straps toward the front of my foot are a little loose but not drastically so and it’s not enough to make me send them back. *They DO RUN SHORT. I didn’t believe the reviews and regretted it the second I got them. Buy up a size to ensure the length is what you need. *Definitely a pricier shoe…but I have come to look at footwear as an investment. My Vionics last me for years and I think these Naots will do the same. I sure hope they do! Those of you who deal with foot pain understand the struggle and the occasional cost. But if I spend $125, $150, $175 on a pair of shoes and they last me for several years then it is worth it to me. Just my opinion of course. 🙂 I’m hopeful these shoes have great durability. If they do, I will absolutely buy more in other colors!

I normally wear a women’s 9 so I ordered several pairs in the 9-9.5 size- these run very narrow and small. They seem well made and comfortable but I did not find the sizes comparable to their size guide.
