I bought the 3 pack so my grandchildren would not fight over them. They were so excited when I gave it to them. They love going on bug hunting expeditions! They are very well made and the pole appears to be sturdy. I like the feature that the pole is telescoping and the children can very easily change the length of it. Needed these for summer use in bay. Telescoping was fun but made them a little flimsy. Bought one on a stronger pole that worked better. If you forget and need one, check the local Walmart fishing section (not the beach area with the plastic cheap one).

We bought these to catch our parakeets when they refuse to go back in their cage. We've caught them while they are mid flight, resting. They are fun for the kids to help catch our stubborn flyers. They don't get injured by these even being caught mid flight. Between the kids and birds the netting hasn't ripped or torn. Most of the time they just end up flying into the net! They are strong and easy to use the telescoping net is great makes it easier to get them when they are higher up. These are a good value, but break very easily. They are meant for butterflies and bugs, but we use them in water which is why they break so quick. They’re not strong.
