These work great! Very easy to slip under the siding and so far everything seems quite secure. There are 2 sizes of screws which is very handy. Just be aware that your decorations will not be flush against the siding. They set out a little but that is fine with me. Great purchase.

Great Siding Hack
I was able to hang a mailbox as well as wall sconce lights without damaging my new siding. Only reason the rating wasn't five stars were some of the screws provided were too long for the depth of the hook.

Perfect for Outdoor Bookshelf Speaker Mounting!

I bought these for a very specific use and they worked perfectly! I had some weatherproof outdoor speakers I ordered and wanted to put up outside over my patio. The speakers weigh about 10 pounds each. I wasn't big on drilling into my siding to do this and thought this might be a good option. These were simple to put under the siding. I was able to use 3 of these for each speaker, which is 3x the what the stated capacity is. The speakers are supported by these clips very sturdily. Amazingly enough, I put them up the night we had terrible winds and thunderstorms and they held strong. The speakers were completely stable and didn't move a millimeter. You can't see these clips at all if you mount them behind whatever you're putting on your siding. Their size is adequate and their stated weigh-bearing and use is accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to use these for other needs in the future. ... show more

Perfect for my no solicitation sign. I love that there are different size screwnheads. This sign had larger holes. It worked perfectly. Popped right in without a problem. Installed with my fingers and it is on snug, once I tighten up, we're locked in for sure!

Very cool and useful
I never knew these existed, but now that I do, I am sure that I will find a number of uses. For now, I used them to hang some Blink outdoor cameras. We have had some very violent storms this summer. These things didn’t even budge. They (and my cameras) are still holding on tight. Update 1/18/2025 - I was here looking to purchase some more of these clips and want to update my review. I purchased these clips in 2021. Since then, I have used them to hang a number of different Blink cameras, INCLUDING THE KIND OF BLINK CAMERA THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE BATTERY OPERATED FLOOD LIGHTS. The light and camera fixture, which requires four D cell batteries, is heavy. I used these clips to hang this fixture. It has been hanging for years and there has NEVER been an issue. If you’re concerned that the clips aren’t strong enough, the strength of these hangers has never been an issue for me after years of use, even when used on something much heavier than a stand alone Blink camera. Additionally, I noticed a couple of videos that say the hangers don’t work, that they are “useless,” etc. The video that says the hangers are useless is correct. The hangers are useless when you try to use them on concrete fiber siding instead of vinyl siding. The hangers are made to be used on vinyl siding. If you try to use them on something other than vinyl siding (like Hardie Plank concrete fiber siding for example), the hangers will indeed be “useless.” Also, if you try to use the hangers in the wrong place, they aren’t going to work. They must be put into VINYL SIDING. If you try to slip the hanger into the trim above the vinyl siding, it’s not going to work for you. You’ll see this in one of the videos attached to a review. If you look at the photos included after the video, you’ll see vinyl siding (that’s where the hanger should be installed). If you try to slip the hanger into the trim above, as the video clearly shows, the hanger is not going to work. ... show more

Allowed me to do so much more around my house I couldn't before.
I love these hooks, they are perfectly designed (at least for my siding) and hold amazingly strong in storms and sustained gusting winds. I have bought these a number of time, never had a quality issue and have held up well for over a year in a wide variety of applications around the house. You do have to make sure they are seated 100% properly, but once you take the extra 10 to 20 seconds they hold very strong and love they come with the screws. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing to add lights, cameras, decorations or anything else around their house. They have not damaged siding in the least (remember there are different materials, sizes, and age of your siding can all factor in). ... show more
