Best, most comfortable earpiece. Crystal clear sound. DO NOT BUY OFF AMAZON. Go to the N-ear website and buy it from there. After a year, my earpiece stopped working. I planned on calling N-ear to do an exchange but I am lazy about these things so I just bought another one off Amazon and figured I’ll make the phone call later. I just got off the phone with N-ear and the manager was EXTREMELY nice to me. He explained that with Amazon drop shipping, N-ear does not have access to customer names and therefore the earpieces purchased on Amazon aren’t covered by warranty—just the Amazon return policy. I was surprised because I purchased from the N-ear Amazon store. Long story short, we came to a resolution I was satisfied with.     • Way better than the tubed ear pieces
I have used the tubed ear pieces for years but they always ended up getting condensation down in them, or a hole in the tube, a bad connection after a few months…. Always something to make the $20 ear piece go bad within 6 month. That doesn’t even include trying to break in the actual ear pieces themselves and dealing with the ear pain. I’ve been using this ear piece for almost a month now and have noticed that I actually forget I’m wearing it. The sound quality is so much better and it actually being “in” ear, makes it so you barely have to turn your radio on to hear everything clearly which saves battery life and makes my radio last longer. This was an absolutely great purchase and has a 2 year warranty, so even if I have to buy one every 2 years, that’s what, the average cost of ownership is $5 a month for the 2 year life of the equipment. Used this earpiece for a couple days as a police officer. Our department uses digital radio signals, so not sure if that effects the audio quality or not. The earpiece was “ok”, it’s tiny, very small piece that fits in your ear canal and is very comfortable, no issues having to mold an ear piece to your ear shape. The wire is thin so it’s easy to forget it’s there, also so thin that it makes adjusting in the field difficult because it’s hard to feel where it’s at. The biggest complaint is the ear piece gave me headaches, it felt like there was a constant ringing in the ear it was placed in, not sure if it was the speaker or the way it fits. If the ear ringing wasn’t an issue, it would be an “ok” earpiece, not really convinced it was worth the $130 price tag. ... show more

    • Doesn’t fit my ear.
The sound quality on the piece is excellent, however, it doesn’t properly fit in my ear and will constantly fall out. With the included attachment, it fits in my ear, however, I lose ambient sound with it, defeating the purpose of the piece entirely.

By far the best earpiece I've ever used. I did have issues after about 2 months where it sounded like the speaker possibly blew out, but I don't think that was the cause. But that stuff happens. It was out of the Amazon return window, so I reached out to the seller. They paid for shipping to send it in and immediately got me a replacement. Sometimes products fail, it happens. Works great for a few days then stopped working. Returned it and got a new one. Again, worked great for a few days, and then again only would work if I put pressure on the input on the lapel mic. As soon as I would release pressure, the sound would stop. Seems the plug may not be long enough like another review said. When it works, it works great.
