These are very nice sheets. I grew up in a time when sheets lasted for many years of use. I liked the feel of stiff and the crispness of the sheet then. But how do you judge what thread count to get? I am not a fan of soft, thermal and silky sheets. The sheets are from My Pillow and are very good quality. Not hard to put sheets on bed. The value seems good compared to what a person might spend on sheet sets. I bought the stripe one because I didn't want to stain them and have it show like it would with solid colors. I love the My Pillow brand! I have the Giza Dream sheets from My Pillow, and thought that’s what I was ordering when I ordered these. The color is beautiful, but they’re definitely not as soft as the Dream sheets. I’m using them on a guest bed, so they’ll suffice, and they are the color I wanted.

WOW why didn't I try these My Pillow Percale sheets sooner!! I had always heard that Egyptian Cotton sheets were the bees knees so I of course, that's what I purchased. But they seemed almost too soft and too warm and sort of clingy. After reading up on the differences between the My Pillow sheets, I decided Percale was probably what I was really after. I got my first pair of Percale four months ago and I'm back today for a second set. I'm sold. The Percale are crisp & cool and the perfect weight and I actually look forward to sleeping in these Percale sheets every night. These are the sheets of my child hood!!! No more Egyptian Cotten. P.S. The Queen fit well and no shrinking after four months of weekly wash & dry. ... show more
