As a pilot, I have to sit for long periods, and then move throughout the terminal with several large bags. When I wear Spanx, my posture improves, and I feel much less fatigued. Squeezed into this for my wedding and it did help get an extra inch off. Be sure to find a size that is more like the size you want to be and not the size you currently are. Though also understand that you need to fit into it and this isn't magic. I tried on several different men's shapewear and picked this one because it had the best performance to comfort over any of the others. Some others got me looking thinner but I felt like I couldn't breathe or was critically overheating or it looked really strange under my shirt. I own several of these now, and didn't purchase them for their slimming factor but for support instead. Just like athletic compression clothing has performance benefits, the relief and support this brought to my back was amazing. You really find yourself standing taller, and with a great sense of relief. They've held up really well through numerous washes without any wear or tear that I've noticed.     • Great multi purpose use!
This shirt has great multi purpose use. It's great for working out in if you have jiggly parts that you don't want to jiggle when running. It also helps keep my confidence in wearing tighter fitting clothing until I can get there without it. The only con is they're so gosh darn expensive. And rightfully so. I've gotten a ton of use out of it. Something I've also noticed is the sleeves sometimes roll up on their own and get a little uncomfortable. In hindsight, I would probably opt for the tank instead of the T. If I buy another one, that's what I'm getting. ... show more

Be patient when you try to squeeze it on. I'm a large but it looked like a small. It took a minute to get it on but it is totally worth it. Once it is on, it is true to size and feels pretty good with no roll-up.

I read the reviews for this shirt and decided to get it in my regular T-shirt size, despite advice to get the next smaller size. I did that because I wanted to be able to be able to put it on and take it off myself without feeling that I was being smothered. Follow the instructions for putting on the garment and you can do it yourself. I needed help to remove it, even though I also followed those instructions. It was comfortable, even though I could feel it squeezing me slightly. My necktie caused me to feel warmer than this shirt did. It also helped with mild back pain that I have because it kept me more upright. I plan to wear it again since it was a much less expensive alternative to buying a new suit and dress shirt. ... show more
