I like that I can haul this around for art classes or plein aire. It gets tumbled around, but never leaks! Just the right size for travel. Easy to clean. You can pour the used but good turp off and the sludge stays in the bottom. Wipe it out with paper towels

As far as I can tell, after using this pot for the past few weeks, it is exactly what I needed. I put safflower oil in it and clean my paint brushes. No rust, and the bottom of the insert has small holes so you can use it to clean brushes more thoroughly. It closes with a tight seal and is leak proof.     • Seals nicely
This solvent container seems a good alternative to my older more expensive jar. It seals nicely with just the two clasps. It’s usually the rubber gasket that fails over time, not the metal container anyway so I don’t see the need to pay more for the three clasp can.

    • Small but mighty for my oil painting brushes
I use this for oil painting. It is small but awesome for holding medium for brush cleaning. The seal is so tight that my turpenoid can role around inside and there is no spilling. This one is very smaill (I think it hold 6 ounces) so if you have very big brushes or very long brushes you might want the bigger version.
