I used it on Windows 10. The installation and setup are not very straightforward and can be a bit confusing at first. It takes some time to get everything working properly. Got tired of paying so much money for cable tv when i spend most of the time streaming or local channels. Used the antenna below and installed it in my attic. GE Outdoor HD Digital TV Antenna, Long Range Smart TV Antenna, Supports 4K 1080P HD Smart TV VHF UHF, J Mount Included for Attic or Outdoor, Weather Resistant Just aimed it down town and plugged it into this little TV dongle and now i have all 80 local stations i can watch while i am on my pc. works great for the price. Cons: software support could be better. No program guide for all channels.....only EPG for individual stations. Work around is just google what is on local channels in your area and you will find what you want Update: 3/21/24 I upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 and it breaks the app making this thing useless. Window 11 also flags the driver as a security risk ... show more

    • This does work on windows 11 - must disable Core isolation/memory integrity setting
There were so many reviews saying this wouldn't work with windows 11, but I loaded the drivers and there was no error, but when I plugged in the dongle, it did say that the driver would not run and that the Core Isolation/memory integrity setting under Windows Security/Device security had to be turned off. I turned it off and it was able to work. Not sure what are the implications or if I should leave that off when I'm not using the TV. It does work, there doesn't appear to be any channel displayed and you use the arrow up/down to change channels. The antenna it comes with is tiny and is the same size of the stick. I thought this toy antenna was the cutest thing but wouldn't pull in channels, but it seemed to work as well as my larger loop antenna I've used before. ... show more

The tuner does work. it runs well on windows 10. The Provided Antenna picked up most of the channels in my area except for NBC. Had to use a different Antenna to pick it up All in All a good tuner would Recommend

    • Stay away almost worthless.
Linux driver compiles with Ubuntu but doesn't work, it also ruins firmware for other devices which did work. Upgrading kernel fixes drivers for other devices. Driver for windows did install, but Midvd app doesn't work. Could only get device to work with nextpvr. Wish manufacturer would not claim a working driver unless it works with a current generic Linux kernel. ... show more

    • Worked with my antenna.
Hooked it into an older computer with windows 10 Using one of those square antennas and it worked. They could do a better job with the instructions to explain the process of recording, how to end the recording, and finding it on your computer.

I am using it as a tuner for SageTV (I have two tuners). I found the driver on the Mygica web site and installed it and then installed the tuners on SageTV. I use a rooftop antenna and get all of the the main local stations (zip 94024). I am using Windows 10 but some comments indicate these tuners do not work on Windows 11. The mfg may need to upgrade the driver. update: I could not get the driver to load on Windows 11. This is not the Win11 security stuff. The driver started to load but then stopped with an unknown error ... show more
