I first used TRIFECTA MYCO SUPREME Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Enhancer for my flower gardens three summers ago. I was familiar with Mycorrhizal as an additive found in some of the gardening products I was buying due to personnel at the local Gardening Centers I frequented praising its virtues every time I purchased an item that included it on the list of ingredients. So eventually, I decided to try it by itself and started out small with a 2 ounce packet that cost around $20. I grow nearly four hundred flower seedlings every year, sowing the seeds indoors in my former office, now a quasi-greenhouse, and setting them outdoors in the flower beds after patiently carrying each one back and forth from inside the house to the backyard as I complete the hardening off process. (I need to try to build a cold frame to help speed up this segment of the growing game but where to find the time!) I began with putting the suggested amount of the powdered mycorrhizal in the holes I dug for several dozen petunia seedlings, carefully making sure it came into contact with the plant’s roots. I then made a point of comparing that plot of petunias with a second plot planted at the same time but without the root enhancer. The difference between the two sets of trial petunias was remarkable! Those with the MICO SUPREME mycorrhizal had no wilting or any indication of transplant shock while those without did their share of drooping before perking up in a day or two. The difference in plant health between the two groups continued to be undeniable with the MICO SUPREME mycorrhizal treated petunias enjoying a growth spurt along with a first budding and first blooming. My purchases of TRIFECTA MYCO SUPREME Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Enhancer soon increased from the 2 ounce size packet to the 6 ounce bag and then on to the 13 ounce, with 10 orders in all. Of course the ounces get less expensive as the bags increase in size so it looks as though I will be attempting to budget for the hefty 88-ounce size bag (bucket?) this coming spring. ... show more

I really like this product. I've been using it for after transplant rooting. It does help minimize shock and establish roots in a new medium quicker. I love the organic end of it as well I dislike it's price - for the price I find myself being overly cautious with it's storage and usage, when nothing else i use nutrient wise I have to be like that about. ... show more

I don’t think it matters much which plants you inoculate with this incredible product, root appearance will probably surprise or even shock you a bit. That was my experience! A lifelong gardener and flower grower extraordinaire, I thought I knew what a healthy root system should look like. WRONG! When I saw the effect on the roots peeking out from the bottom and indicating time for transplant…I was SHOCKED. Fur. FURRY. Like the roots grew facial hair! Substantially thicker roots, too. When I think about how much the FURRY growth increased surface area and how that will certainly provide a much healthier nutritional foundation in my garden, well, I had to kick myself for not trying this sooner. I live and garden in the Northern California Foothills at about 2,500 feet elevation. Best results were on tall multiheaded sunflowers, tomatoes, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Glue. (Regarding cannabis, I cannot express adequately how much better my plants grew. Bigger, taller and more dense, substantial increase in yield, and when my plants got an infestation I thought would kill them…they handled it well. Recovery was rapid. No failure to thrive occurred.
