I just needed a cheap ladder to help some people get back in the boat. I have a Lund fishing boat that doesn’t have a swim ladder on it. We do use it for tubing or skiing and some people cannot lift themselves back into boat. This fits that need and was 20 bucks. Great deal.

I bought attachment rings to fit into the track on my boat, to attach if need be. It has very well made carabiners that attach easily to the rings. It stows away in the boat in its giant plastic zip lock. Price was very reasonable.

Bought this for the kids to use as a step up to an obstacle rope. Was perfect for what we needed it for. However, the carabiner busted apart as soon as we put it up. Had to replace the carabiners with a stronger set. 3 stars for the busted carabiner.

I really liked everything I've not had to use it yet but you can tell when you get a hold of it it's going to work fine. You will need cleats or something to attach to the boat. It did not spread out far enough for both my cleats but instead of adding new cleats I put extensions from the boat cleats to meet in the center for the ladder so I can just clip to those. ... show more

mments: Used this on my Boston Whaler to get in the boat after snorkeling. I weigh 209lbs and the second time I used it the end cap came off the plastic rung and the rope cut right through it. Now another three of the steps some on both sides have cracked plastic that gets worse every time I use it. Unable to repair it. The blue end caps should have been epoxied to the plastic rung.
