The keyboard was not defective, but does not have the ability to move to different sounds quickly. There are hundreds of sounds, but to get to them you are forced to press an arrow up and down button. If you're performing, and want to change sounds, this is not feasible. The piano sound itself was great, but some time of the other sounds like the flute or accordion sounded fake. Amazon approved the return, but when I went to return it I was expected to pay for shipping, which cost 156 dollars, half of the cost of the organ. I contacted the seller to see if they would help with the shipping and they asked if I would accept a partial return and just keep it. I said that I would be willing to keep it for a 75% refund. They countered with a 30 dollar partial refund... that's onl11% refund! That's ridiculous. They wanted me to send a picture of the damage. I tried to explain that the keyboard was not damaged, but it dis not meet my expectations and needs and that it was already repackaged and ready for shipping. This was our last interaction and that was 8 days ago. Don't buy from this seller. If you are unhappy with the product they will offer you a joke of a refund to keep it and then ghost you.

Plays really well, and seems solid and well built. It sounds even better through an amp. Be aware that this is not a lightweight electronic keyboard; it is much heavier than the typical 61 key keyboard. It weighs about 30 pounds without the power supply and sustain pedal (which are both included, as is a nice lightweight stand and a nice nylon carry bag). My only real complaint so far is that there is no direct way to access the 800 different tones (or the rhythms or the demo songs). You have to cycle through them one by one. This makes it virtually useless in a gigging situation when you need to switch rapidly to a different sound. If there were a direct way to access, say Tone 399, this would have been a 5 star review.

It has 800 sound effects. Large beautiful keyboard. Keys feel weighted properly. It has a faux wooden frame which is nicer than hard plastic. The sound is wonderful. I had a bit of trouble assembling the stand. I eventually got it but the directions aren't specific enough so I had to take squint and look very close to try and figure out the matching angles of how to build it right. Drove me crazy, I had to reassemble it 3 times before I realized how it works. That's just me though. I'm not bright when it comes to certain furniture directions. But eventually I got it right lol. If you're thinking 88 keys are a lot, it's a perfect amount. For players that have never played a piano I recommend something not as advanced and expensive. If you're taking lessons regularly then yeah the 88 keys are great. All in all it's a great piano.

Great piano for the money, lots of sounds built in. I also am able to use this as a midi controller. The only issue I have is scrolling through all the sounds with a plus and minus button can be old and there's so many you probably won't hear them all still 5 stars for playability.
