    • Functional and Compact, but Strong Odor and Questionable Value priced at $75

This case has a compact, slim design and a functional layout. The zipper operates smoothly, and the interior includes securing straps along with a high-adhesion divider to help organize power supplies and accessories. It also comes with two small cleaning cloths, a sturdy carry handle, and a padded shoulder strap for transport. From a basic functional standpoint, it can hold equipment in place. However, the chemical odor was extremely strong upon opening the case. It required being placed outside for two full days to air out, and even after that the smell remained noticeable. When brought indoors briefly for photos, the odor was still strong enough that it had to be returned outside. Even with wind exposure, it has not fully dissipated. In addition, the exterior material shows what appears to be a snag or missing thread line. It’s noticeable and affects the overall appearance. For professional use, presentation matters, and this flaw stands out. At $75, the overall build feels thinner and smaller than expected for the price point. While it is structurally functional, the persistent odor, cosmetic imperfection, and lightweight feel make the value difficult to justify. With better material finishing and improved quality control, this could be a much stronger product. ... show more

This hard shell case has huge potential as a very versatile product to carry a wide spectrum of things. I ordered it for my art supplies, when I travel and do plein air. It's large enough, at 18.89" (interior) and 10.23" (interior), to hold my medium sized sketch pads, plus numerous pouches of other tools, like my pencils, erasers and smudge sticks, and also some watercolor supplies, and keep them intact and safe. The handle is very comfortable with the flexible rubber, and it also came with a strong shoulder strap. The other thing that's great about it are the tie down straps inside, to keep all my gear organized and free from sliding around during transit. Whether you use it for audio gear, art gear, or otherwise, its design is outstanding, and its the optimal size. Certainly it fits the MPC Live III. There was only one issue, and one issue alone. I waited to write this review as long as I did - almost 5 months now - because I was venting it all this time without even using it. The stench of thick, acrid cigarette smoke in and on it was so strong that it was unbearable, and unfortunately, it's still present. You can even smell it from the other side of the room. I'd have no hesitation recommending this case to others if it didn't have this issue. ... show more
