  • Nicely made aftermarket saddles for a MIM Strat
Color: Black
The Musiclily saddles fit perfectly into one of my MIM Strats that I use quite often. Using these as a replacement for the original saddles that came with the guitar brand new, I haven't had to adjust the bridge height quite as often with these new Musiclily saddles. In my opinion they make for a nice, well made aftermarket replacement and are certainly worth looking into if you like to build and modify guitars. They are very easy to install and make for a fresh appearance on my guitar. The price point seems perfect for this nicely made saddle set. Five Stars ... show more

  • Real steel
Color: Chrome
These are real steel. A perfect replacement for those very inexpensive guitars that use cast pot metal for bridges, tuners, ect where the screw threads strip out at first use.

  • Looks great
Color: Gold
Great way to upgrade a bridge in both tone and aesthetics. Just make sure you get your string spacing right but this would make a excellent upgrade to any stock bridge.

  • ok, raiser screws too short
Color: Chrome
Old School bent metal sheet saddles with a lot of surplus screws and springs. I previously installed a set of the similarly shaped old school sheet metal Fender saddles on another build, and they were a nice improvement. The Fender saddles have a more V-shaped front, and this requires some real estate. If the guitar's intonation require the saddle position to be very much forward, and the bridge screws are in the way, the Fender saddles won't work. So, I tried these, since they are U-shaped, and take up less space. They installed ok, but I realized that there are 2 issues: 1) the top of the saddle has no groove to keep the string in place. It is 100% smooth metal, and the string is only kept from sliding into the gap between two saddles by the screws - if they are protruding sufficiently. If they don't protrude, there is nothing keeping the string from sliding into the gap between two saddles. 2) Only relatively short screws were provided. While this is not much of an issue in a block saddle, since one can sink the screw in, the comparatively thinner sheet has limits in terms of raising the saddle. I hit on the E and A string the limits, and the strings were still buzzing. Apparently, the replacement maple neck of my guitar slightly thicker? Fortunately, the longer screws of the old saddles were a fit, and things worked out eventually. Other saddle kits usually contain long and short screws, and instead of adding a bunch of spare screws of the same length, the company could have added a few longer ones. So, while the price is not bad, these saddles can cause issues if a player likes to shred hard. And the screws are really on the short side. The price difference to the basic saddle kit from Fender is not sufficient to recommend this over the Fender, and I would probably rather go with it than this one. But it is a 4-star product for the price. ... show more

  • Excellent saddles for a strat
Color: Chrome
These saddles are a perfect fit and a nice upgrade for an old strat. The saddles are sturdy and well made, and the finish is flawless. The old saddles were showing their age, and these new saddles improved the guitar’s looks as well as its playability. Very easy to install. Totally satisfied,

  • Seems like a really good quality item.
Color: Black
So, I haven't actually gotten to put them on yet. But, I can tell quality when I see it. I have an old 90's MIM that I'm slowly trying to mod, and I just haven't gotten to that point yet. But I've lined them up, and inspected them pretty thoroughly. There's no flashing, points, or anything like that from manufacturing. And, everything seems like it should be a perfect fit. I'm hoping to get them on in the coming weeks. But, just from what I see, I'm genuinely impressed with the quality of manufacturing for such a reasonably-priced item. I'll report back if I have any issues, but I genuinely don't expect any. ... show more
