I coach 9-12 year old youth soccer as well as junior high soccer- this little inflator is great and can fit in my pocket. Our junior high league bought 16 new size 5 balls and this thing blew all of them up on a single charge of the battery, then the next morning I blew up the 9 size 4 balls from my 9-12 league. The pre-programmed balls are nice to have as you can set a PSI for each one and the pump remembers what's set- or you can use a range of your choosing not aligned with a saved pre-set...but those presets are nice when having to inflate multiple balls in a row. The only thing of note, is after a couple of balls getting blown up, the inflator was getting warm to the touch. I'm sure this is from the mini air compressor built into the unit, but just be cognizant of that if you're blowing up multiple balls in a row to maybe give it time to cool off. The only negative I can give it, is the inflator needle screw is larger than the typical needle. It's not enough to ding it a star, as the extra size is likely needed to pull/push air through as the device uses the needle holes for inflation/deflation. So if you lose the needle, you can't just go and pick one up from anywhere.

I have a friend that bought this and I was impressed that you can set the desired PSI and it will inflate to that level. It is difficult to get an accurate inflation with a hand pump, so I bought this to make sure the soccer balls are inflated correctly when I referee matches. This has been awesome! It works perfectly. I love that two needles are stored securely. I was able to inflate 30-40 soccer balls before it started saying it needed a recharge. It takes about 30 seconds to inflate a soccer ball fully from flat, so that is great. This is such a convenient device and I'm so glad I bought it so the players have properly inflated balls.

Allows custom settings. Remembers the settings for next time. I only use this to keep my display Australian Football inflated. An Australian football is inflated to 69kpa, which is different than any American sports ball, most of which are measured in psi. I was able to set this to kpa, adjust to 69, and now whenever I power it up it's ready to go. I looked at several other pocket sized pumps, and most of them used a short hose but had nowhere on the pump to store it. This one holds two needles on the pump itself, and there is no hose. You attach the needle right to the pump. Very convenient, very reliable. I feel like I got my money's worth.

I've had a manual hand pump without a gauge that I've used for years for both my girls soccer and basketballs. I've always just done the bounce and squeeze tests and that was good enough for them. Now that my oldest girl is actually on the middle school soccer team I decided to buy a better pump. After watching the officials at her jamboree use similar electronic pumps to set all the balls I decided to buy this one. I'm glad I bought this pump because I just found out that my old way has been leaving them both with under inflated soccer balls by 2 to 3 psi. The basketballs were closer but was still about 1 to 1.5 psi under inflated. I'm sure when basketball season starts this fall they will appreciate the easier to dribble balls. Lol. I definitely recommend this to anyone with an old hand pump or any non electronic pump. Just buy it, you will love it.
