  • Does what it's suppose to do.
Color: Super Chorus
An alright pedal for the money. Came with an exterior battery connector. Really super cool. No need to take apart to switch batteries.

  • Decent Compressor
Color: Compressor
I bought this compressor to try after Guns and Guitars glowing review of it. It's a pretty decent compressor, I'm happy with how it sounds, but I do have some issues with it how it's made. Maybe it's just mine but the jack for a power supply is not lined up with the hole in the casing so my power supply cable has to go in at an angle and doesn't sit correctly. The other issue I have is the text for the LEVEL and COMP knobs is black... and it's printed against a pretty deep blue which makes it hard to read in low light. That's a nitpick though and after using it pretty extensively in the studio for a few weeks I've memorized which knob is which. Otherwise, the pedal is pretty solidly built. It has a nice sturdy metal casing. The footswitch is the older style, loud click kind of switch--not the silent switch like you find on newer, pricier pedals like the Strobostomp. For my purposes in the studio it isn't an issue so I don't mind but I know that's an issue for some people. Overall I'm happy with it and will be keeping it on the board! ... show more

  • 4 transistor Muff circuit with a weird octave-ish sorta circuit
I think this pedal is pretty interesting. It's got the typical 4 transistor muff type circuit (with one set of clipping diodes on Q3) but with a weird selectable octave fuzz sorta thing. The Octave thing doesn't use a transformer like most octave fuzz circuits, but instead takes the output of Q2 and feeds it through a diode that I would assume is clipping half of the waveform, then feeds the signal back into Q2. Or at least that's what it seems like from a quick glance at the board, I haven't traced it out in detail. The tone is pretty good though it's pretty noisy, but what else would you expect? Good values chosen for the tone control, pretty useable for the whole sweep of the pot. The "octave" bit is a nice value add that makes for an interesting lead tone, and if you don't like the weirdness of it you can just leave it turned off and it's a typical Muff. I think it was worth the $30 I paid, even if just for the octave thing. ... show more

  • It does all the FUZZ.... And its a Clone of French Toast almost..
I thought this pedal would be a dud like the cuvave fuzz and the azor fuzz....NOPE this thing rips!! I have a DOES IT DOOM pedal and this thing is almost the same Chainsaw-ish , White noise bringer! I have a french toast fuzz and this pedal is close. however it seems to have a little bit more sensitivity and response than my FT does. I'm able to coax some pretty nasty tones outta this cheapo! was suprised by the quality of the box and the knobs . switch felt decent and the foot switch is a bit stiff ...... I will report back in a few months and let ya'll know if it survived gig and stomps. So far So good! ... show more

  • It's pretty good
It has a nice fuzz sound, but it wasn't what I was looking for

  • Value and tone
Amazing tone. Regular fuzz and octive fuzz in one! Just quiet and perfect fuzz tone when needed. In my opinion just as good and more versitile than EH pie. 60 cycle hum youtube review was spot on. Buy it!

  • Insanely good budget pedal
Saw this pedal on "60 cycle hum" youtube channels affordaboard and had to try it at such a low price. This pedal is astonishingly good even if it were triple the cost. Definitely worth every cent I've paid. Very versatile and has cool octave fuzz mode as well. If you are hesitant dont be. Buy this pedal immediately you will not be disappointed ... show more

  • It's pretty good but don't expect a big muff
P good, but it is very high-mid focused so don't expect a big beefy sound like a big muff
