This puzzle was a lot of fun! I bought it as a replacement for my sis-in-law's puzzle that my kids got some water on. The image is fun and the mystery of it is fantastic! It's colorful, fantastic value, and the quality is good. Anytime a puzzle like this soaks up water, it's going to ruin it, so that was user error, not the fault of the puzzle! Its a cute concept. The colors and the way the pieces are cut make assembly easy. The entire completed puzzle isn't needed to answer the question- which doesn't truly solve a murder in any way, so there are definitely missed opportunities. But the final puzzle is fun and colorful.

This puzzle was super fun to do but we agree with the other reviews. The final solution was a stretch and didn’t incorporate the whole puzzle. Other than that, the pieces are great quality and we really did enjoy the process of putting the puzzle together without a picture to guide us! We would recommend for this puzzle to have the number of digits needed to unlock the combination in the clue.

I received this as a gift and finally was able to take the time to finish it. A great quality puzzle, and it's challenging in that you don't have the normal poster or cover of the box to use as a reference. It's fun to solve the mystery as well. Would recommend as a gift to anyone who loves puzzles (and stories!).

We really enjoyed the process of putting together the mystery puzzle itself, but the final puzzle solution to answer the mystery was a real stretch. That part was very disappointing so that's why I give this one a 3. The book style box though is a real plus as it is perfect for storage with style on a bookshelf. We would definitely buy another one from this company though.

Its a very fun and well built puzzle, and I enjoyed the challenge of building it with no picture. The problem was that the mystery aspect was a huge letdown. It only used about 3 peices out of the whole puzzle to find the code
