I got these to meal prep for a friend who just had surgery. Everything i filled them with froze well. There was nothing too liquid so not much expaninding when frozen so im not sure how well theyd do with that. I still have a stack left over and plan to use them for my own meal prep. Id buy again

    • Handy As Can Be, Economical, and of The Highest Quality
These Munfix deli containers are just like the containers I used to get, when I would order takeout food at our favorite Chinese restaurant. After the Egg Drop Soup and Crab Rangoon were gone, I would always reuse the containers. They were just perfect for storing leftovers in, in the fridge, then microwaving them even, without the need to dirty more dishes. I would reuse each container several times, before finally throwing them away. So when I saw these on Amazon, I decided to order this 48 pack for myself, so I'd always have something clean, to put my leftovers in, even if I hadn't run the dishwasher lately. I really appreciate how these deli containers are BPA Free, and how they can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher, and reused multiple times. I also like how I can identify the contents in them, without having to actually open each one, since they are clear. While these containers are pretty leak proof, they are not 100% leak proof. I put water in one, and turned it upside down, and the water didn't leak out. Only after I vigorously shook the container with the water in it, did the water start to seep out. So, I do recommend keeping these upright, when in use, if you want to avoid the possibility of messes. There are just so many potential uses for these deli containers. They would be great to use when going camping, at barbecues, on road trips, on picnics, and so much more. They're also the perfect way to send along extra food with family and guests, when they are heading home. There are no more worries about your costly food storage containers not getting returned, because people can just keep them. Finally, these Munfix deli containers do not come packed in a box, like shown in the 5th photo. I wish they did. Instead they are sealed inside poly shrink wrap. I would have preferred the box, because it would have been a good way to store them. All in all, these containers are wonderful. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of these containers. I have purchased other brands in the past, but the sturdiness of these containers is superior to what I have purchased elsewhere in the past. The plastic used for these containers feels a little thicker than most products I have used, and the sides of the containers don't collapse when I grip and pick them up. The rims of the containers have a unique vertical ribbed design which reinforces the strength and durability. The lids form a very tight seal, so if you intend to use these containers for soups or any type of liquid, you will be happy to know that even when shaken, the containers do not leak. These containers can be used in the microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. Best of all, they are reusable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product. ... show more
